  1. Anyplace to get HVAC parts on Sundays? I am in Manchester, TN. Hopefully there is someplace nearby that is open on Sundays. Thanks in advance
  2. Think I may head up to this show this weekend. Been a while since I been to one. dlm37015-Got any 9mm bullets with you? ETA-For some reason I thought this Nashville show wasn't till the 18-19.
  3. Get a Zacchaeus, its about as minimalist as they come. And only $18 http://www.dalefrickeholsters.com/products.htm
  4. Another vote for BigDots. Just put a set on my 19
  5. FBI has reported there was 12,996 murders in 2010, a gun was used in 8775, a rifle(all rifles, not just "assault rifles") was used in 358, no weapons used in 745 murders.
  6. I do not think a magazine ban stands a chance on it's own, but attached to something else like this cybersecurity bill it may just sneak through. The dems voted for and Obama signed that credit card bill even though it had the national park carry amendment attached to it. That would have never passed if it wasn't attached to something they wanted. So a few minutes of your time for just incase isn't going to kill you. ETA- This doesn't appear to be a petition. It looks like a form letter that will be sent to our senators with your name on it.

    Glock rusted!

What gen Glock is it? I believe I have the same job you do and my EDC is a 2nd gen 19. Haven't noticed any rust/corrosion on it. Haven't cleaned or even wiped it down in about 2 weeks. Could it be the NB slide that is allowing this happen?
  8. An unloaded gun will get you or someone else killed. You are suppose to treat all guns as if they are loaded. What better way than to keep it loaded. That way instead of thinking it is unloaded, you know it is loaded. If you train to keep your gun unloaded, then guess what it's going to be unloaded.
  9. No. 9mm at Chi-Rho in Tullahoma. He had a couple more guns I was surprised to see as well. Saiga 12 and a Keltec KSG, the KSG actually for sale this time.
  10. Seen and handled one yesterday, almost bought it.
  11. Got a question for the lawyers on here. Are liability waivers that you have to sign to go to some recreational areas legal? As in would they hold up in court if you did get hurt and decided to sue the owners?

    How often...

you mean I am supposed to clean my guns?
  13. Twist rate on it should be 1:9 or 1:9.5
  14. Yep your right. I have seen dumb things to. Its kinda like other things I guess, It seems so simple that anybody should be able to do it but not everybody can.
  15. I had never been around a pistol until I bought my first one. Didnt need a class to tell me how to operate it or to know not to point it at anybody. Seemed all kinda self explanatory.
  16. 17L comes with an extended mag release and a 3.5 connector
  17. You can clip it on, it has a J-hook on the backside.
  18. But its pretty much spot-on that the hole carbon credits thing is just a scheme
  19. Yep that dude has a lot going on on the front of his belt. doesnt look very comfortable
  20. Bullets down just works better for me. I could see bullets up working, and if I practiced it that way enough it would work but bullets down felt more comfortable/natural for me.
  21. Mine is for a glock. Here is a pic, not me but it shows the mag holster the way I carry it. This one has the TDI sheath made onto the holster, need to get one like that.. To me it is more accessible than a vertical holster. And unless you need to tuck your shirt in it is no less concealable. And I dont appendix carry, I use a supertuck holster for my glock. ETA The only other one that I know of that I would run is the one by Galco. But I dont think you can remove it without unfastening your belt, which I need to be able to do. The other ones I have seen look more bulky or have a velcro closure which I dont want.
