  1. You would be right, it is a Cavalry Arms polymer lower.
  2. I just got a stripped lower today and plan to build it myself. The only part I am having trouble with is, which trigger? I want something that will be rock solid reliable. I have been looking at the RRA match trigger and worked over stock trigger. Which would be best for a good trigger but also as close to 100% reliable as I can get? Or should I just use a standard trigger?
  3. Anybody know anything about this rifle? I know it is older, 1940-1965?, but would it be worth buying? if so, what would be a decent price? Thanks
  4. I have sold some guns and traded some guns over the past few days. Ended up with a complete 16" AR and a Stag stripped lower and plenty of money burning a hole in my pocket.
  5. WOW, if I was taking a training course and they started doing crap like this I would pack up and go home.
  6. Count me in for atleast 1 session.
  7. I am pretty sure it does exist. But I could be wrong.
  8. Well that wouldn't be to bad then. I did a quick search earlier and the cheapest I saw was CCI for about 0.20/round.
  9. They look like ink pens, he smokes Camels or Newports can't remember which.
  10. Looks cool, but it looks like 22mag is kinda pricey.
  11. I have a 20" upper that I would like to sell, but I don't know what it would be worth. I got it in a trade a while back. It is supposedly a Colt upper. It has a flat top with a rail on the reciever and a smooth round free float tube, forward assist, brass deflecter, and iit doesn't have a dust cover on it. The only markings I can find is on the barrel C MP 556 Nato 1/7. And there is a D stamped in the bolt. So what would this be worth to someone?Probably has 400-500 rounds through it.
  12. It could be the new tire but not likely. Most of the time when you have a pull under acceleration, it is 1 or more bad engine/trans mounts. Block the wheels, set the parking brake, and have someone hold the brake while giving it a little gas in drive and reverse. While somene else stands at either side and see if you get any excessive movement. If there is, determine which mount is causing it. If there isn't any excessive movement. rotate the front tires left to right. And if that doesn't change anything, I would replace the left side axle. HAHA, it would help if I read your entire post. Seems like you have found the problem. Put the new wheel and tire on the left side of the vehicle. If it changes again, then you have definitely found your problem.

Well I just got back from the range again and I still can't hit POA with it.
  15. There is what 80 million households with guns, so 3% of that is 2.4 million But that is not going to happen. Most people are still to comfortable to send a couple emails.
  16. I wasn't giving some random guy on youtube credibility, it was James Yeager.
  17. I currently don't flinch, but I did when I first started. The first time at the range I was no where near POA. Went home looked around on here, and dry fired some for a few days. Went back to the range and POI was relatively POA. My main question though, is how can dry fire practice make it worse? I know that using dummy rounds will let you see the flinch, but I don't see how that will correct it.
  18. Other than dry fire practice, how would one correct a flinch? I am bored and watching some youtube videos and one guy said he thinks dry fire practice to correct a flinch just makes it worse.
  19. I worked fast food while I was in High School. It didn't bother me if a bus load of people showed up in the middle of the day or 20 minutes before we closed. I go to work to work. Other people I worked with always complained when we got a little busy and some would almost freak out and panic. But that's not just kids in fast food, that happens everywhere. I have never been in a supervising position and don't want to be for that reason. I would likely fire everyone.
  20. Just because someone or something is pro-military does not make it/them pro-gun. There are plenty of people that support police and military, but don't want civilians with them.
  21. I kinda like the show and watched the new episode this past Tuesday. One of the charactors, Tony, said "I'm a white male between the ages of 18 and 49 with a loud mouth and a gun. I am the American Dream." Now I would guess that most or all of the people involved in this show are anti-gun. So I wonder if this was an attempt to make fun of gun owners. Personally I kinda liked the line.
  22. I have heard this quite a bit From what I have seen a Glock 17 weighs about 5 ounces less than a P226. I don't think you will notice 5 ounces much, but I haven't been carrying long. Those prices on J&G look pretty damn good. If I hadn't just bought a 17 I would have to pick one of those up.
  23. The few times I have broken a tap, tap extractors have worked to get them out. But I have never broken one that small. If you have any mechanic friends they may have some tap extractors that you can try.
