  1. I am just an yearly member. While i support all they do for 2A rights, I have seen many so called reputable organizations screw their members for political reasons (AARP totally hosed members supporting Obamacare, AMA sold out the doctors as well.) so while all is well now I dont commit life time support to any organization. As long as everything is cool, they will continue to get my money.
  2. I have never watched an opening or closing ceremony. Seems like a big waste of money. Spike had a full night of MMA tonight that sucked me in.
  3. I would not get on one of those buses unarmed. rough crowd.
  4. Low cirme, Memphis, now there's two things that you dont normally hear together. Prepare to commute or deal with whats in town.
  5. I think that a floating venue is the best idea as well. Chattanooga is in great need of a real gun show but I understand that we are not centrally located for most of TN. I would travel to Knoxville, but probably not Nashville. If you rotated through the 4 major cities I would think that most members could attend at least half of them.
  6. Thanks for the break Steel. I was beginning to think that I was too uneducated for TGO. I was about to move over to GlockTalk where the standards are lower.
  7. Cut me some slack man. One misspelled word at 2:30 in the morning is pretty good for me.
  8. If your so insulted by ignorance maybe you should require all that register to the site to pass your IQ and literacy exam. I understand that you don't want your place looking like some redneck hangout but do you really expect everyone to run a spelling and grammar check on every post. I concider myself very educated and never intentionally try to come off sounding ignorant but do we really want to turn this place into somewhere people care more about where I put the apostrophe instead of where they come for excellent firearm information. I know, that last sentence was probably way too long so now I've brought the whole site down a notch.
  9. It's the Internet not a college composition class. I can write very well when I need to. I don't really care how people post up as long as I can figure out what they are talking about.
  10. Congrats. Are you going to sleep with it tonight?
  11. I work at one of the big hospitals in Chattanooga, the entrances are all incorrectly marked but Im sure as Hell not going to be the one to tell the idiots about it. It makes me smile inside everytime I was past their little no guns sign.
  12. I know it's already been said but I wouldn't stay anywhere near the Comedy Catch. Either stay downtown or by Hamilton Place mall.
  13. I have single handedly improved the rate of sales on this site. I need to stop spending money. TGO gives you your target audience for selling anything gun related. We all love guns and we probably live in a close proximity. Win/win
  14. PICS ADDED ON PAGE 3 I am not one to ask others for anything and being fairly new here makes it harder to do so. I am a member of TN-1 DMAT, a federal disaster team. 35 members of my team left this morning headed to Haiti. My wife was one if those on the plane as was one of our TGO members CrashGordon. If you pray please keep the team in your prayers until they return in a few weeks. If you are not the praying type please just remember that TN has a team putting themselves in harms way to help others. TN-1 DMAT - ANSWERING THE CALL! thanks
  15. find a 12 year old to hack into the system and steal the email. sorry dude.
  16. I wouldnt drive very far at all if the dude isnt willing to send you better pics. I was looking at an optic and i asked for extra pics so I could tell if it was a real or knockoff aimpoint, he sent some shots but not what I wanted, I asked for more and he ignored, I blew it off.
  17. Hey,thats my birthday. I cant think of a better gift to self that the gift of firearm training.
  18. It looks pretty cool. I too have an Otterbox and think that it would provide more protection. The Magpul definitely scored coolness points.
  19. I dont know what happened to Ray Carter but i must admit that the last 2 times i went in his place that he was very pleasant. I felt like others here and have posted my negative experiences with him in the past. Maybe he does read stuff on here His prices were ususally on par with most small shops in the area but it was always the attitude that turned me off, hopefully the change was permanent because I too would rather support a local store plus I drive past Carters everyday.
  20. I have concidered the same question. Not fi for myself but for a close friend who is diabetic. He is young and in better shape than most of my friends but is on an insulin pump. I really haven't come up with a good solution to his problem. Good luck with your surgery.
  21. Im glad they are coming, the more competition the better for the consumer. By the way what the hell happened to the Cabelas coming to N. GA?
  22. havent ridden this year. the roads just thawed out and are pretty wet. Not that Im afraid of wet roads but my back tire is toast and needs to be replaced ASAP.
  23. My wife has the Kindle 2 and loves it. It is very cool plus you can put the books on the Kindle, your computer and I even have them on my iphone, everytime you access the book, it knows where the furthest point read is, regardless of which device you are using or used last, you can go with to that point in the book.
