Who was it that warned of the danger of trading liberty for security?
-
But how is this part fair? The second robber, Jevontai Ingram, then 14, fled. Ingram pulled out a gun inside the pharmacy but did not fire it, according to testimony. He was caught days later. He has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder for his role in his friend's death. He will be released from a juvenile detention facility before his 19th birthday if he completes a treatment plan. Thanks. It fits the hand really good. Thew grips are unlike any others I've seen. This from Sig's web site describes it/them better: AMERICAN INGENUITY MEETS EUROPEAN REFINEMENT The legendary 1911 design has been brought into the 21st century with the refinement today’s shooters demand. The SIG SAUER® 1911 proves that close tolerances equal complete reliability and need not be incompatible in an off-the-shelf pistol. SIG SAUER has introduced clean, distinct lines that American shooters have embraced, while retaining the crisp trigger pull, classic ergonomics, and exceptional accuracy they expect. The 1911 Scorpion is truely unique, from its desert tan Cerakote® coated stainless frame and slide. Complete with a 5.0 lb SAO trigger, 8 round magazine, and low-profile night sights. The 1911 Scorpion features Hogue's innovative Magwell Grip Set. The advanced design combines grip plates and main spring housing in an integrated magazine well extension that promotes rapid magazine changes. Manufactured from G10, the Magwell Grips provide strength and light weight in a highly functional assembly. The grips feature Hogue's Piranha texture for excellent retention in any environment and come in a multi-layer green and black pattern that accents the Scorpion's Cerakote Flat Dark Earth finish.

Well, look at it this way...millions of women, all across America, will have an extra hour during the day for housework!

I like to go and look. I've never bought a gun there, usually buy mine in a private sale or from a local small dealer. But I like to go anyways. I sometimes will buy something small or a holster or something that catches my eye. I can't help it, I LIKE GUNS, lol.I go and look at them, fondle a few, etc...
-
Are you tired of it yet? lol.

Well, mine's in my safe, lol. I think they got the bugs worked out. Mine runs just fine. Only type of ammo I've fed it is CCI maxi mags tho. Production is the big issue. Guns just aren't Keltec's priority, I believe big ontracts for something to do with aerospce is their bread and butter. They had this same issue when their RFB came out, and I bet it will be the same with the KSG later on. I hope those dealers that are gouging folks for the PMR don't do the same with the KSG. I got mine for a reasonable price I thnk. Way less than I see them for online.

I don't drink whiskey often, but when I do.....Jack or George?
Defender replied to Will Carry's topic in General Chat
When I lived in England, if you ordered a whiskey n the local pub, you got scotch. The only choice was was brand. They liked our stuff, they just didnt consider it whiskey and didnt usually stock it duie to the high costs and even higher taxes. -
I think it's like the bindi dot on Asian Indian women's foreheads...you can peel it off to see if you won a convenience store, motel or Subway shop!

Ma, sorry you don't like it. I love mine! The strap isn't great for extended carry, but I only carry mine to and from the car for the most part. I took off the small strap and just use the bigger one, throw it over my shoulder and go. My ONLY issue is I think i need something bigger, which is why I am interested in an Operator style like you have....
-
No, you were right, OP does, I hijacked, my bad. Sorry.

Only one I see in the Android Market is the Talatap Forum App for 2.96, from Quoord Systems Limited. I can go to TGO with my browser, and everything seems to work, its just hard to see everything and zooming makes it too big, lol. Like someone else already said, some websites automatically present their interface in an easy to see version, kinda like tapatalk, but with no software for the viewer to buy and download. I'm guessing they may use a more expensive softwarre interface than does TGO...

Don't be too quick to judge them. They could be legit. Those guys from Nigeria recently sent me an e-mail, telling me about a long lost relative I didn't even know I had in Germany of all places. Turns out that he was rich and had no heirs, but somehow the lawyers in Nigeria, apparently Germany uses Nigerian lawyers (who knew), tracked me down and want to make sure I get my money. Of course, most of the governments involved want to tax my new found wealth, but these sharp Nigerian fellows have discovered a legal way to transfer all this money to me, without me paying taxes on it. All i have to do is send them my bank account information with account numbers and passwords and those kinds of pesky details along with a bank draft for $300.00 and they will see to it that I get what I am due. Now how about that? Now I can start buying all those guns on my dream list finally. Seriously, though, how do they do this? e-mails I understand, but how do they do posts here? Does someone acually join these boards and then manually post this crap, or has technology gotten to where they can do it all automatically?

I appreciate the answers, and it is probably my poorly phrased question that is causing me to not get the answer I seek. In an AR, the buffer assembly group is the tube in the buttstock that contains the spring and the buffer, a longish metal tubular closed ends piece that slides back and forth in the buffer tube. Thesre is a reason for this contraption, it's not for looks, lol. But the PLR 16 does not have this. Some ar style pistols have this buffer tube assembly like on the AR15s, and some do not. My questions is why? There must be some pros and conms to each idea, as both obviously sell.

Can anyone educate me on the functional difference between the Keltec PLR16 style of 5.56 pistol vs the tradiotional style? What I'm looking for is info about how they work. Keltec, and a few others make theirs without a buffer assembly group, makin g for a shorter overall length, while most others do have that part, making for a much longer overall length. How do these differences affect operation and performnance. Although my experience has alwaqys been with the traditional style, WITRH the buffer assembly, apparently the Keltec style works well also. Anyone?

LOL my mistake...I looked at the pics and then couldnt see them while I was typing and mixed them up. It IS the tan one that I dont like the zippers on. The black one I like!
-
The black one in your pic I don't like because of the dual zipper...I have had zippers like that b4 nd just didn t like them. The other, the one you have, i like. Lets's meet for lunch. After I look at yours I may order one for myself. The Malaga is good, but sometimes I think the Operator would be better for work. You are right about the holster...just a couple heavy duty velcro straps sewn together, but effective. I have them in a couple of my bags, but the concealed carry pouch in the Malaga is big enough that I just carry my Bersa Thunder 9 Pro in it in just a regular nylon holster, unattached to the pack. It stays upright in the pouch and is ready for drawing.
