  1. Well put. I keep getting reminded that when he was running for the first time, he made speeches saying he would fundamentally change America. He's done that in some ways and fully intends to in many other ways, legally or not, whether we like it or not. I also agree with the above author that if he is reelected, then it may be all over for America.
  2. ...and at the same time, we rescue one of their pirated ships, saving the crew...or maybe Iran didnt notice that?
  3. Did today. Thanks for the reminder.
  4. Wish someone would offer this around Nashville.
  5. If Shumer said it was high noon at high noon, I would suspect he'd be lying, lol.
  6. I used to have one of these..they wrked pretty good IIRC. Swivel Head Pop Rivet Gun | Jabetc

    1911 Noob Question

I;ve owned a 1911 in some form for almost 40 years and I STILL don't feel completely comfortable with that damn slide stop, lol.
  8. If you REALLY want rid of Obama, then you will vote for whover is wins the GOP primary. I will even if my favorite doesnt get it...anything else will just cause another split like what got Clinton elected because of Perot.
  9. I have 2. I have a full size Scorpion and a 1911 Carry (Commander sized) model. Great guns. Some 1911 purists dont like the external extractor, but I have read that when 1911s break, its often the internal extractor, so...
  10. Plus 1. Also, going thru the same or similar training aint the same. At the very end of the Vietnam thing, I went thru training to go to Vietnam...I did NOT go to Vietnam...it aint the same. They merged the fields after Ventura got out. Ventura was never in combat.
  11. Good to hear. But I think sometimes some manufacturers DO sell some guns to certain store chains that are different than their standard fare. I was speaking to a Taurus customer service guy in Miami once and I asked him about a model they had in Sports Academy...this guy right away told me that that model sold in Academy was the "California" model, and to stay away from it. Looking at it online I didnt see that there were more than one version of it.
  12. yes. And we already have TWO here, neither of which is up to capacity much.
  13. C ongrats!@ He picked a good service!!! lol, well they all are, but Im particular about the USAF~
  14. Never liked him in the first place. This is just another reason.
  15. Where was this?
  16. There was an episode of Mythbusters last year where they "tested" this. IIRC they determined that it was unlikely, but possible for a falling bullet to injure severely enough to kill. But I think this was for one fired pretty much straight up in the air...but as anyone knows, a bullet has a trajectory if fired in a somewhat horizontal direction...guess it depends on a lot of different faqctors. Sad, in any case.

    Sig MK25

MSRP $1142.00 kinda steep, isn't it?
  18. I had one. Good gun exc ept for the caliber I didnt like .32. The tilt up feature is ideal for anyone who has trouble racking slides and i knwo some men who have that problem too.Always went bang when it was supposed to.
  19. saw him on Fox and Friends this morning...cool.
  20. Electronic is the way to go if you don't shoot alone. I have a couple pair of the caldwells, and I love them. Mine arent expensive but they work fine. I can carry on a conversation between shooting.
  21. I'm a conservative. I try really hard to at least understand the "other' point of view. Sometimes, I can see their point and although I usually think it's misguided, or even naieve, I can at least see where they are coming from. This issue, however, baffles me. How in the world can you NOT require positve ID to vote? That's like an invitation to commit fraud. Look at ACORN and the fraud they perpetuated already. Multiply that and its a disaster. EVERY state should have voter ID laws. I can accept it if the other side legitimately wins an election, but sheesh, ya just can't let it be done illegally.
  22. A gun? He's got a gun? OMG, it might go off!
  23. So young to have already gone though so much.
