Where? And is that out the door?

There are some old Mossberg bullpups floating around from an old production...wonder if these are what people are seeing? At first glance I could see how one might temporarily confuse them with the KSG.

There's always variations of yin/yang. Also, look here. A few ideas anyay: Left evil, right good... Why does the "right" represent good and the "left" represent evil? becoming comfortable with one chambered
Defender replied to 93civEJ1's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I have always carried my 1911s cocked and locked. When I was in the USAF we carried S&W .38 revolvers for years until we finally changed to the Beretta 9mm. I remember when we first got the clearing procedures, I was right away uncomfortable with the troops carrying one in the chamber until one of my NCOs pointed out to me that we already did carry one in the chamber in our .38s, lol. -
I've not shot my PMR-30 much...100 rounds only...and I never noticed any keyholing at all. I was using the CCI Maximax ammo...think it was 40 gr. I did ask for and get the replacement barrel, just in case...fihured it couldn't hurt to have it.

I think the property owner has the right to decide what he does not want on his property, HOWEVER, I don't think it should be a legally posted opt out situatution, that if violated, constitutes a violation of the HCP laws. Instead, I would make it where the owners could post if they want...those who carried anyway would run the risk of being asked to leave, and if they don't, THEN would be subject to the trespassing laws. Government building should NOT be posted nor should any other place like parks, schools, etc. I think that if a place posts, then they should incur the legal responsibility of providing reasonably adequate protection from harm while in their facility. I'm waiting for a place that IS posted to have a violent incident involving the injury of a HCP holder who wasn't able to protect himself because of his inability to carrry in a posted place...to then lodge a lawsuit against the business. If THAT happened, and the penalty was severe enough and pubicized, perhaps business owners woulf stop posting. I wish that more people would understand that LEGAL handgun carriers are not the problem...

At one point in my young adulthood, I considered myself somewhat of a liberal, and I was in favor of abortion. As I aged and matured, I saw that I was very conservative, and somewhat of a libertarian. but not quite. My current views are generally against it as I think life generally takes precedence over a 'womans control of her own body.' But I read a very good book a while back, "Freakanomics," which, amongst other things, put forth a novel idea that Roe V. Wade and the onslaught of abortions it brought on, was responsible for or had a direct correlation with a lack of growth in violent crime or even a reduction of crime in the years since that case. This hasnt changed my stance, Im still pro life, but the facts they present are sure hard to argue with.

Double Post

I was using tapatalk earlier on my Droid X and it was acting funny too. As a matter of fact, even on my home computer its been acting odd since TGO David mentioned the probs last week...sometimes when I post it generates a message on my computer asking if I want to leave this page...if I say no, it doesnt post, if I say ya then it posts ...but it doesnt do that all the time. The reason I mention that here in this thread is because I kinda am thinking the problem is one with the host or the software and quite possibly related to the reasons TGODavid wants to change. I didnt used to have these problems with either my desktop OR my Droid.

I was pissed about the new $5.00 parking fee to get in and then having to pay $8.00 more to get into the show. If they keep this up, I wont be going anymore.

Firearms Freedom Act - Court Challenge Underway
Defender replied to MacGyver's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I agree. NRA isn't the best thing since sliced bread, but they do a lot of good. Probably more on a National level than any other 2nd Amendment group. I get mad at them sometimes myself, but I have to remind myself that they are a single issue (2nd A) based organization. About this having the potential to be a defining moment for states rights...I was just telling a friend that very same thing yesterday. I'm not sure it will pan out that way, but it could. Depends on how far it goes....I'm sure the Federal Appeals court will side with the government's position. The Supreme Court, which I think WILL hear this case, is a different animal! And I have NO idea which way they will go. But even if it goes against Montana, if they do go to Plan B - Sheriffs First, and arrest US agents trying to override Montana law...well that could well be the beginnning of a real revolution. Just think, how far will the feds go to enforce their law over a state’s law...they will certainly send in Federal agents...ATF, US Marshalls, etc, but if they are then arrested by local Sheriffs, what then? Send MORE federal agents? I think this has the potential to escalate quite rapidly...I can see other states sending in local law enforcement to assist, and also Montana deputizing others to fight this...eventually the feds would be forced to make a major decision, i.e. military troops. And if that happens, it’s over. Absent a foreign invasion on US soil, I can think of nothing that would galvanize the population like using the military like that. Not to mention, it could well result in a mutiny or even a coup by senior military leadership. Okay, NOW I’ll take off my tinfoil hat. Will it happen? Doubt it. Could it happen. I think possibly. Let’s hope that the Feds quietly back off. -
Davidson County Elections
Defender replied to GuardianDevil001's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
THIS is very useful informaton. I did a similar mailout a while back and used my results in the subsequent elections. Thank you. -
Is there a way to get all the links together on one page? and let it continue to be updated in alpha order?

Wasn't Texas settled mainly by Tennesseans? I like atexas too, but we really ned to tighten up that border. I like the Hill country best, Austin and en virons, but when in S.A. i'd be sure to check out the Alamo. I've been to S.A. severalo times and always try to go the Alamo. Even if it was overglorified by legends and movies...its still impressive what so few did.

Mine was not memorable but I heard about a class recently where the instructor shot off his pinky!

I think the term is meant to convey the place you go the first time you carry in public once you get your permit, no matter where that might be. No matter how long you've been a firearms enthusiast, there IS a certain feeling the first time you carry in public as a private citizen. Kinda like you halfway expect everyone will immediately see that you are armed, lol.
