I don't know. Picking up a new 590A1 and trying to quit smoking at the same time doesn't sound like a good combination to me! HaHa...just joshing!! Nice shotgun!

Yep, got mine on Monday. I'm amazed at how much stuff I need !!!!

I bought a Firestorm Ultra Compact 9mm about a year ago (virtually same as the Bersa, but grip is a bit different). It has become a favorite of mine. I was amazed at the accuracy the first time I shot it. I've been more accurate with it than with a S&W 5903, or a Ruger P94 (I've since sold the Ruger). And it cost less new OTD than the used 5903 I bought at about the same time.

Damn!....and I thought it was only my Dodge Ram that had that problem!!! But, I'm not going to report my "issue"!

No, I haven't attended any of the other conventions in other cities. My point was that, if Nashville had never hosted an NRA convention previously, then I more than likely would never have joined the NRA in the first place years ago. The main reasoning behind my lack of attendance of conventions in other states is that I've run my own business in Nashville since the mid-80's, and I don't have huge amounts of free time to attend out of state conventions that are not directly related to my profession.

Huh, the reason I first became a member of the NRA stemmed from my attendance at the NRA convention hosted at the current Nashville Convention center back in 1993 or 1994. If I had never attended that convention, I would never had had the experience of actually learning about the NRA from actual NRA members. My previous view of the NRA up until that time had been fueled solely from misinformation provided by the anti-gun media. My experience at that convention was the reason I actually became a member of the NRA.

Remington 870 Express Magnum 20 gauge. Got it about 20 years ago. Still have it. Great shotgun.

Kwik?? Is that you?? I also vote for the Hogue overmolded stock. But again, the 10/22 I have it on is also a bull barrel version.

Good gosh, after starting out rather strong in the early games, I tanked big time this last week!! After the Auburn win, I've only guessed right on one other game!! At least I've currently got sole possession of last place!! -
I agree with many comments above. CCI ammo has always worked the best in my HP-22.

I heard an ad on the radio the other day for a Goodman show this weekend in Nashville (Jan 9 & 10). Call a buddy, bring a friend. The fairgrounds is not closed down yet. Our business was told in November by the organizers, that "Christmas Village", which is held at the fairgrounds, will be at the fairgrounds again this coming November, 2010.

Phil at Bellshire Hardware may be out of you immediate area (Dickerson Rd. in Nashville), but he did my last couple transfers @ $20 plus state $10 background fee.

I keep meaning to pick up some Blue Bunny "Plinky". Just haven't had time yet.

Hahahaha!! The Pacer!! A friend of mine had one in the very early 1980's...I lent him a pair of vise-grips to use as a window crank. He drove the Pacer during the work week (to save gas), but drove his "real" car on the weekends. His real car was a very nice 1970 1/2 Camaro Z-28.......He had plenty of girlfriends. (Dang, I just remembered that he never gave me back those vise-grips!!! )

I have a Firestorm Mini 9mm PRO which I purchased new in February. 13 round capacity, matte finish. Cost me under $400 OTD (probably a bit cheaper these days). I've put a few hundred rounds through this pistol, with no issues whatsoever. It is manufactured by Bersa in Argentina. Excellent pistol, more accurate than the Ruger P94 and S&W 5903 I shot at the same time. Maybe it's time to sell the 5903 (I already sold the P94 2 months ago). I'd purchase another Firestorm without any qualms on dependability, etc. As stated above by others, I believe the Bersa's and Firestorm's don't get as much respect as they should. But that's okay by me.

Costco has been selling caskets and cremation urns online for years.

Nope, sorry. I posted a basic overview for you. It wasn't the Kaiser who was killed..... Besides, the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand (whom you obviously meant to reference) was only a portion of the cause : First World War.com - Feature Articles - The Causes of World War One

Sadly, though, I don't have a huge amount of faith in their ability to make a consistently good 1st round draft pick (obvious examples, VY, and, of course, who could forget "PacMan" ).

I'm sure that none of the people are there for the game tomorrow between MTSU and Mississippi State.... -
The biggest, baddest, rootinest, tootinest movie star there ever was!

Now that was a great movie!!! I'm fascinated by the story of Alvin York, but I was a history major in college. I really enjoy stories such as this!! -
I like the sound of that. I just picked up a new (used?? [it appears new to me] off of Gunbroker) Stoeger Cougar 8000 this week from my FFL. I plan to try it out this weekend.

Wellllll, if it's a Chevy small-block V8, at least the parts would be cheap!! But, it would seem that you'd have to rely on the fact of being able to get a (fairly stout) friend to help any time you needed to cut something.

I've had very good luck with a few different types of Stihl equipment. Chainsaw, string trimmer, blower. But, of course, these are older pieces of equipment (which means they are traditional 2-stroke). I've used Opti2 synthetic oil mix in them for years, and they all still run great. I've used the Stihl string trimmer the most of these three, but after 11 years of use on our 2.5 acre yard, it still performs great. Just change spark plug and air filter occasionally. Now, the trimmer looks like Hell, but it still works great!!
