I would like to be listed for two lowers. And, possibly, one upper also, as information is released. Nashville area.

Very sorry to read this. My condolences.

Well, as an Auburn graduate (albeit almost 30 years ago), I'd say Florida 1st ( just a bunch of %6$#^)*&@), and LSU 2nd. War Damn Eagle. (Hey, I was in school when Bo Jackson played....I was even in a Geography class with him........Bo knows Geography!!) ;)

This is why I haven't used their gasoline in years, also. -
Not to worry, salt is also necessary to catch Tennessee snipe. ;)

These days I apparently just snore through the night. At least that's what my wife tells me...... :snore:

I'm sorry, but I had to poke fun (I really, really apologize!). I want to own a Bushamster 90827. I know it's a typo, but I had to laugh.....I kept seeing Bush Hamster... :hiding: -
Yeah, I've wondered how it's stayed open for the last 15 to 20 years at least. I've worked in retail for thirty years, so I know (from my infrequent visits....[have never purchased anything from them] and stories from others who have visited) their customer service is not the reason they're still around.

For some reason, he reminds me of Winston Churchill---Just not gonna put up with crap from anyone !!!

I previously owned a Ruger P94 9mm, and still currently own a S&W 5903 (former Atlanta Police trade-in) and a Bersa Firestorm Ultra Compact 9mm. I sold the Ruger because it was the least favorite of the 3 for me. I don't have a true preference between the 5903 & the Firestorm UC, because I view them as totally different handguns (5903 is much larger than the Bersa Firestorm Ultra Compact). But, since I've found both a S&W 3913 and a CS9 within the last couple years, neither the 5903 nor the UC are shot or carried these days. I guess what I'm saying is that I'm a fan of the 3rd generation S&W's, but I'm really a fan of the more compact 3rd gens. Never had an issue with them, they like all ammo. :)

Sounds good, thanks for your first impressions. Please give us an update after you've spent some time driving. I definitely understand your thoughts concerning bare bones, etc. I'm a bit over 50, and often miss the non-electric windows, etc. When the time comes, I'll have to decide on manual vs. automatic. The Miata I bought 2 years ago has been both fun, and a pain at times. Manual transmissions are fun, but there are times when my bad left knee acts up & makes it a chore.....At least it hasn't been my daily driver. But I do like to shift gears. When I was in college (in the early 80's), I had a 68 Camaro with a small block V8 & 4 speed. But no A/C, power windows, power steering, or power brakes--Oh, and a luxurious primer based paint job---The good old days.....

It looks very nice. So tell us about the V6. I've thought about getting a 2013 Mustang for awhile now, after it warms up & I can sell my 2 motorcycles and my 2003 Miata. Did you get to test drive a manual trans. Mustang? I believe a manual transmission would be on my short list, just debating V6 vs. V8.

My favorite is: "From my personal collection". Really?? So that's the reason you're allowed to overvalue your firearm?? Or is that to distinguish this item from the firearms you're selling that were found in the gutter?? :squint:

I need to tell my 24 year old nephew about this. Then maybe he'll quit working at our store (I can't fire him, my mother-in law [his grandmother] is the owner of our store, my sister-in-law [his mother] is a part owner), and he can be a lazy hippie somewhere else........ But, then he'll get tired of this experience, and whine to his mama, who'll pay to get him back home, and he'll plead for his "job" back at our store, and his mom and his aunt (my wife), along with his grandmother, will offer him his old "job" back.........Leaving me to deal with a lazy, whining hippie who's afraid of anything resembling real work. What an ass......... :shake: Wait, I just reread the story. Maybe I'll join the hippies, I need a vacation.....And I saw the mention of a topless woman in the story........ I may check out renting a nice motor-home, and stock it full of beer..........

Service Experts formerly Donelson H&A S****
craglawnmanor replied to Volzfan's topic in General Chat
Luckily, I've got a very good friend that is also an independent HVAC person. I met him when his daughter and my oldest daughter became friends in grade school. We became better friends as his daughter & my daughter went through the same high school and college. He has a love/hate view of businesses such as Donelson Air. He hates that companies such as this exist by ripping off people----gives a bad name to the HVAC industry. But, he admits that he has acquired many longtime customers because he was called in for a second opinion, and actually diagnosed & fixed the problem instead of recommending the replacement of complete units. My friend now does all the HVAC work at our home, at my dad's home, and at my business. And as a side note, he also has had his handgun carry permit for a number of years. -
But which pawn shops in the greater Nashville area still deal in firearms?

Yes, a person should be able to transfer more than one firearm from same location on the same transfer form. But, check with D&T before ordering any lowers. I'd been planning to get a couple stripped lowers online, yet Dave posted that he received some last week. I ended up purchasing two stripped lowers that D&T had in stock, at a price that was the same as if I had ordered them online, plus shipping & transfer fee.
