  1. Yes, good idea, but it may be more challenging at this time to actually find an M&P Sport available for purchase than to build an AR from parts.
  2. Yes, but in a month or two, will there still be anything available for sale?? From what I've seen posted lately, along with talking to a couple dealers in the last week, the gun buying hysteria of 2008 is starting to begin all over again. :shake:
  3. Ewwww, I'm not fond of snakes!!!! And bluedog, TMI.... I certainly don't want to hear about your issues with herpes!!
  4. That is definitely weird, what with the glass being on the opposite side. About the only thing I could offer would be "aliens", or maybe David Copperfield?

    New Gun Store

Good luck with your venture!! When do you plan to open?
  6. Yes, that is definitely walnut. Very nice!
  7. But, is anyone really ever overstocked with 9mm???
  8. OK, I was following along great until this part. Ewwwww!!!!
  9. I'd go with a .22 revolver. It's not intimidating, and she can get comfortable with things before moving upward in caliber. I started both my college age daughters with a .22 (they are 5' 8" and 5' 9", so not petite). One is happy with .22 semiauto now, while other likes to shoot 9mm. Neither likes .357. Many, many moons ago, I started with the same .22 revolver---Ruger Single Six.
  10. I'm curious to see what the selling price will be. That is a very interesting pistol.
  11. I'm extremely qualified to answer this poll. I like guns and boobs!!!! The more the merrier!!
  12. I believe Mr. Goodman passed away in September of 2011. His organization has an easily found website. Why don't you email them?
  13. When I saw the title of the thread I was just going to post "Why?" But, I've seen that you've made a sound decision and purchase!! Good job, and enjoy!!
  14. Where did you get those attractive wood grips?
  15. Testors model paint. Welcome to Testors A large variety of colors available at places such as ToysRUs and Wallyworld, among others.
  16. Well,....Metalhead is "involved" with Guns&Leather, so.........
  17. OK, where are the Gander Mountains in Tennessee?? Knoxville & Memphis?
  18. Yes, I'd also like a door organizer!
  19. Like Magic said, the refurbished Sigs are in red boxes (they are commonly known as "CPO" for certified previously owned). There is definitely nothing wrong with a Sig refurbed by Sig. I have a CPO P228, and the only thing different from it versus a brand new one is the red box,.......and a lower purchase price--It looks brand new. You definitely purchased a nice one, but don't avoid Sig factory refurbished ones because they are very good also.
  20. This does look interesting. I do like Berettas. I'm "sort of" looking for a pocket size 9mm myself, and have waited a bit while some of the new offerings have experienced their growing pains (ref: Kahr CM9-Ruger LC9).
  21. Yep, Bellshire Hardware on Dickerson Rd. in Nashville.... Phil actually sells a lot of RIA 1911's on gunbroker (seller name Bellshireguns). His pricing is usually very good. Phil is a good person to do business with. I've purchased a few things from him over the years. Just call his place and see what he has in stock. Welcome, and good luck with your search.
  22. Ohhhh, well that does change things a bit. Rugers do not always get the same positive rep as many S&W's, but a Speed Six is every bit as nice of a revolver as most any other available. And, Rugers are made like tanks, meaning they are extremely durable. Good luck with your decision.
  23. I'm also very interested to hear about it after your range trip. I too have been looking at one of these for a carry piece when I'm at work. Right now I'm vacillating between a Bodyguard .380 or a Kahr CM9.
