  1. Yep, I've got one for pistol mags. Works great!!
  2. Welcome sigrug17. I have relatives that lived in Silver Springs for years (still have one cousin there). My uncle was head of the Geography dept. at University of Maryland for a number of years.
  3. Yep, I like the idea also. I've got more lights than you can shake a screwdriver at (another one of my obsessions ).
  4. Well, the 10/22 is nice (I've got 2 of them myself), but that Mossberg looks awesome!!
  5. That dog deserves a good home.
  6. I'll admit that I had stopped using mayo in the last few years. But recently I saw Dukes at Publix, and decided to buy it (everyone else in my house was conveniently out of town at spring break--no one to yell at me about a purchase I didn't need) . I was pleasantly surprised!!!
  7. I remember going to the zoo in Washington D.C. when I was a kid. It was pretty cool even back then. But, of course, they had dinosaurs in the cages when I went (it was a long, long time ago!!!)
  8. Pepsi Max ( Or, maybe Blackstone's Chaser Pale. )
  9. That would be very high on my list..But since I'm a type 1 diabetic, I'd have to pass. Otherwise, I'd go with sausage and biscuits, or.......crunchy Cheetos!!!!
  10. I'd also recommend Rock Island, or another Armscor variant. I actually picked up a Citadel, which is made at the same factory as the Rock Islands (Philippines). Appears to be very well made. Well under $1000, so plenty of extra $$ for ammo.
  11. Or "affect" other people or their work........ This is sad news. A couple of friends I have that are lawyers have always spoken very highly of Dr. Levy, especially as to his straightforward approach to his job.
  12. Take into account that the safe you posted can only open its door halfway (internal hinges). That Centurion looks similar to the model I've seen for sale at Lowes. It would certainly be decent protection for keeping a little one safe.
  13. Yep, Baker's a moron. But we already knew that. This controversy just sped up the general populations' realization of that fact.
  14. That looks frighteningly similar to an Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite!!!
  15. We're still working on the '63 Ford Falcon Sprint convertible we've had for about 15-16 years. It's actually very close after all these years.....being painted now.
  16. Excellent choice! I purchased a Firestorm Ultra Compact Pro 9mm (made by Bersa--only real difference is that it has finger grooves) almost a year ago. The Firestorm UC Pro performs better and is more accurate that every other 9mm I've compared it to so far. And, it was less expensive (new) than a couple used 9mm's I've compared it to. The Firestorm has already influenced me to sell a Ruger 9mm I had for many years.......I'm also thinking about selling a S&W 9mm because of my positive experiences with the Firestorm.
  17. First was my dad's old car at the time. A 1970 2 door Ford LTD. Gold with a black vinyl top. I hated that car. But, it was the motivation I needed to get me interested in auto mechanics at the age of 16. If the car didn't work (usually something different every week), I couldn't go anywhere. Luckily, I was able to get a newer car when I was a senior in high school. A 1974 Olds Cutlass Supreme, with a Rocket 350//4 barrel carb, bucket seats, etc. The only option that car didn't have was T-Tops. But it was still a great car, I drove it for a few years.
  18. After years of wearing Levi's, I had finally given up on their product 4 or 5 years ago, mainly because of my frustration with their extreme drop-off in the ability to manufacture a quality product. This info concerning Levi's anti-gun practices just reinforces my dislike of their company. Just last year, a friend (retired LEO) recommended that I try 5.11 jeans. I've now purchased a few pair, and have found a well-constructed item that fits me better than Levi's ever did. Very well made, and LA police gear currently has a great closeout price on these (under $20 per pair).
  19. Sorry to read this. Sending my prayers.

    I'm Back

It sounds like he left his carbon footprint on the side of his Lexus!!! Welcome back, gcrookston!!!
  21. Yeah, I remember the original commercial from when I was a kid. Ed Bruce sang the "Tennessee Trash" song. The car used was an old Chevy Corvair (the poor Corvair, which helped raise Ralph Nader to "prominence" {cough, cough, bulls**t, cough, cough}).
  22. Yep, I always hear Red's voice when reading Mike's posts.
