  1. had a great time Ryan and staff did a great match and a couple stages had options which guns on which target, got see several people I had not got to see in a while.. we shot with DMark and he was very helpful with some tips to help me retrain myself on shooting pistol. and he also notice that the shotgun looked a little heavy for my left hand, talked about some idea's
  2. I forgot I am looking forward to hearing a good 4 wheeler story. :)   Ryan, will u be using the same steel plates that slowsure used? the ones that need a super solid hit to go down?
  3. if forecast holds, we will be there. my major ammo is suppose to be here tomorrow so finally get to try the open gun with major. and the most important thing is I will get to several people I think of as friends I have not got to see since I got hurt. and even talked the wife into shooting, in the past she would go without me in a heartbeat, but now she is still afraid to leave me alone.   this will be great for the both of us.   thanks, all
  4. I guess I need to add I mine is a open shotgun

    Which AR 308?

JP but u will pay a little more
  6. sorry that is what I though was being talk about. any way all our standard mags (idpa) and I think some of my on limited mags had factory springs. I know they where on that way at first on my limited.   when I was trying to get my M&P's tuned a strong mag spring will not let the gun function with at light recoil spring. that's how I would get out of battery shots with a 11# spring and once with a 13#.  as recall I am using a sprinco 14# recoil spring in my Limited and IDPA gun with a 128-130 PF.   the auto forward before I got hurt  I had no problem.
  7. I do not use extra power springs, my guns are not set up for that. and what extra power recoil springs do is slam the side forward harder causing the front sight to nose dive.
  8. I took mine off, and it did not want too
  9.   I do plan on being there, even order extra fat cold weather clothes. since I big before and now extra fat in this chair since I got normal eating back. I know for sure a few days before the match.
  10. one day I will learn read and type (maybe)   time plus
  11. salient is said to have the VERY best trigger and I am sure highly sponsored shooter like u cost is no issue. because it will cost.
  12. whatever you shot best, my vote is a Dan Burwell M & P. just not go lighter than 2.75# or it no longer crisp, just soft.
  13. sounds good! wasn't the area behind the rear pistol berm the old 100 yard rifle range? I am sure it needs a like of work now.
  14. it's great to see 3 gun coming back to MTSC I will be there at come point. not to sure if I can play in cold as in the house, I now keep gloves on and a blanket on my legs most of the time.   Ryan will you get to use the 300 yard range from time to time. I bought a cheap scope to see if can use it. so yes I DO want to go each month.

    W's Christmas

I got her a dedicated 9mm, with several mags, light and fast fire 3 were will be a eotech here in 2 days so it's up to her. the best surprise is she never knew they made one.
  17. I got the wife one for being a good girl for Christmas. she loves it. but anyway if you looking for hi power for your 9mm carbine you could try 9mm major loads. to make major (USPSA) a 124 grain bullet from a 5" barrel needs to be around 1440 fps.
