Another trip in the way back machine - Pizza place in Nashville
Snaveba replied to monkeylizard's topic in General Chat
I was thinking Shakey’s Pizza Parlor, but I believe it was in Green Hills. My dad might remember, he went to Vanderbilt in the late 50’s early 60’s. I’ll ask him tomorrow. -

I know you are still on a long unknown path, but I am thankful it was not HLH. Still praying for your family and her recovery.

This is a nice JM Marlin model 336 R.C. made in 1967 so no cross bolt safety. It is chambered in .30-30. The wood is in very good shape and the bluing is still strong. The bore is shiny, and the rifling looks sharp. It has had a sling stud added to the stock and there is one on the fore end band. It is missing the front sight hood. It currently has a Williams Peep sight attached. I am asking $800 $750 without the peep sight. If you want the peep sight, $850. $800 $750. I have decided to keep the peep sight for my 44Mag. I can post photos without the peep sight if wanted. Located in Nashville, for sale to folks 21 and older who can legally own a firearm. TN license or HCP flash. More photos upon request. -
I know this is no consolation, but imagine if you never came into her life. I assume from your comment about her biological mother, that you and you family took her in and gave her a loving home. I hope and pray that a remedy for her ailments can be found and it works. You and your family have already made a huge difference for her life.

If I remember correctly, my first computer was an IBM PC junior. It served me well at the end of high school and then I think I took it to college briefly.

My BFs mom growing up was a school teacher and his dad a college professor. I remember her bringing home some little computer at some point (had to be the late 70’s) that pretty much would let your code Basic. It used a cassette tape player for a hard drive. his dad did get a Mac when they came out to work in his book. (English history professor at Vanderbilt)

To continue the theme of tasty Memphis restaurant below is a photo of what I’m eating as I drive back to Nashville. Whole wings from uncle Lou’s on Millbranch.

My wife still uses the other one AOL generated for me.

When I got my first email on AOL, I tried and tried to find something unique but everything was already used. I finally put my initials and last name in backwards (A)nthony (B)riggs Evans and came up with snaveba.

That may be true, but there are A LOT of folks who regularly take something like Prozac with no negative psychological effects.

Beef liver, I can agree. But there is just something about chicken entrails……

This Beretta was an auction win I didn’t expect to win. I’ll go $550. It’s what I have in the pistol. -
That one was on my way to and from the office back in the late 90’s when I lived in Memphis so I have eaten there a good bit.

That one is on EP Blvd, south of Graceland. I’m working over near the Allen Fossil plant and had to run to FedEx by the airport. I had to have some livers and gizzards.
