As I sit in bumper to bumper traffic on I-40 East between Bucksnort and Dickson due to a MVA, douchbags who ride up the right shoulder to get around everyone. There are no exits to get to but the feel entitled to pass everyone.

I do the opposite, if someone is passing the front of my house and I am mowing near the street, especially if they are walking with kids, I just shut off the mower until they walk/drive by. Then I start it back i and keep on mowing once they are past.

I think because it was a blind link, @opossumstomp was just being cautious. We do get a share of unscrupulous postings.

Even folks who are going faster than the speed limit in the hammer lane bug the crap out if me when they continue to stay in that lane when it is obvious I want to go faster. The driver that will pace with you. They are going 75 or so. I pass them and they speed up and pace me. I keep going faster and they pace me. Then I pull over to let them pass and they slow down as soon as the get ahead of me. So I pass them again and they speed up again. Drives me crazy. Usually if you hold it at 95 for 5-10 miles, they give up.

I have a new old stock Renegade by OMC four blade propeller. It is a 13 1/2 x 27P RH, Stainless Steel, model # 175739. 15 spline OMC Evinrude Johnson Hub, small barrel/bore prop made for large gear cases (4.25” bore for the 4.75” gear case) Fits the following with a 4.25” gear cases and 15 spline: OMC, Johnson, and Evinrude 150hp and up. Will also fit the odd large gear case 90hp to 140hp OMC as long as it is 15 spline and 4.75” gear case (not the 4-stroke). Most 90-140hp OMC engines are 13 spline and 4.25” gear case so verify it fits I got it from a buddy. He is an illustrator and did some cut-away drawings for Johnson-Evinrude years ago. They sent the prop to him to use and never wanted it back. Asking $100 cash or trade value, OBO. I can take more photos if requested. Nashville area, near I-65 and Harding. I’d be willing to ship on your nickel. Not sure what that will cost, but we can figure it out.

I heard while the shooter grew up in Highland Park (which has an assault weapons ban) , the shooter now lived in a neighboring town that did not have a AWB so he legally purchased them there.

Not sure about if you check your status ahead of time. What FFL are you using. There are lots of FFLs. Do you have to use this one (like the gun already shipped) or can you use a different FFL?

I inadvertently went about 7 months past due last time my license was expired so my renewal is nowhere near my birth month. Point of note, an expired driver’s license is not like expired car tags. With expired car tags, it’s a simple ticket (usually dropped if you renew before the court date). When your driver’s license expires, it is expired. If you drive, you are driving without a license. That’s a big no no. I got quite the dressing down by the lady at the DMV when they realized my license had been expired for 7 months.

Well, I have not personally read anything on the TGO that I think should prevent an individual from getting a CCP. We all have our differing opinions, and levels of enthusiasm, but I feel that the Mods on the TGO (tip of the hat) as well as the established members are fairly reasonable thinking individuals and would recognize the kind of extreme rhetoric that might be a precursor to violence and intervene.

I’ve heard about (but not seen) the 8.6 BO. What do you think of the round?

I read it as once fired LC brass that has been primed with Winchester primers.
