Half a turn on or half a turn off? If you can’t get the device on, could it be that the barrel and device are not the same thread pitch? It might look right but one might be metric and one standard.

How badly is it cross threaded? You might be able to use a fine file to get it to where you can thread a device on (if it is only the last couple of threads boogered up. or do that then get a 1/2 x 28 (or whatever the thread size/pitch is) die and use it to clean them up.

As I have said in the past, the TGO is the real social media I interact with. I scroll Instagram, but I don’t interact there. While I may not agree completely politically with everyone here, we all like guns and we all like shooting and we all feel that this is our constitutional right. Yep that would. BRF is a pretty big plant. I also heard CUF (Cumberland) may also be having issues. That is another big plant.

I have tickets, my dad and I have sat in the same seats since the first season at the Coliseum. We saw the Music City Miracle and have sat though many a cold game. But Dad is 83 now and sitting in sub-20deg weather with close to a single didget windchill is not something either of us want him to do. If someone wants some tickets for tomorrow, PM me.

Well, it is better than having a grid failure. I agree that the infrastructure should be better and be able to handle times like these. It it were, these measures would not be needed. But I wood rather loose power for 20 min every hour and a half, than loose it for hours. My daughter, in her infinite wisdom, turned the furnace off last night because she was hot. It was 50 in the house when I got up at 7. It is just now getting up into the upper 60’s.

Not sure. I would guess across the Valley, but possibility more in power intensive areas. TBH, my wife looked it up, not me.

Also, if you drive a truck/Jeep/etc, folks driving the same will just wave hi as they pass you by. We’re just that friendly.
