Shooting in Sullivan County Private Property
Raoul replied to BBGun's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
My experience in Sullivan county is that problems are usually neighbor driven. If you neighbors complain you've got a problem. -
The Tri cities down to Morristown or so is a bit calmer. However values are trending higher in general. The covid will probably make things a little jiggy and I'm starting to see the market trend to generally weird.

Easy for you to say. You don't have 30,000 NASCAR fans fixing to descend on you......lol -
In the past I've had home made ones that used an alcohol laced cherry cordial.

Trump's handling of the covid didn't do us any favors. -
Seems appropriate...

In fairness I've had good luck with RCBS.

They'll do, but really the carbide will make your life much easier.

Good luck with that. Evidently the natives are homebound and restless

Vote what? The next bunch of crooks to screw us?. Pick your party.

No. Counting total cases makes sense. And as a result of that method the lethality rate should also be low. It's a bad bug no doubt. And it likes to pick on oldsters and health impared individuals, just like every flu bug that's ever been around. The problem here is that every politician from every party is trying to use this to their advantage. Hang em all I say.....

Personal Self Defense Encounters?
Raoul replied to Dennis1209's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
In the big mortgage meltdown in the 2000's I did a lot of foreclosure appraisals. I would always wear a gun, usually a full size Steyr 9mm. I had one assignment in the backwoods around Erwin in a serious out of the way location. I was busy doing my interior walk through and repair list in a big rambling mess of a house when I started hearing a commotion and some yelling. Then a couple of good ole boys burst in and they're all gd this wtf am I doing etc. I set my hand on top of my pistol and just stood there across the room from them and didn't say a word. After a minute or so one of the ole boys shut up and punched his brother and pointed at my gun. They both became remarkably quiet. After that we were able to have a polite conversation. Actually ended well. I was able to give them a contact so they could try to arrange getting some personal property that had been locked in a storage building and what not. -
Let's just say I'm good to go. It's nice to just grab an ammo can when I go shoot and not ever go ammo shopping.

Nope. I'm a bloody boyscout. I have a fondness for Obummer. He taught me a very valuable lesson.

I've got a couple of CZ .22 rifles. You'll love it.

It was last spring. The symptoms including the respiratory part match. And I was left with a diminished sense of taste and smell which I still have.

I'd like to add a personal experience. Last year I came down with a flu big of some sort. About 5 or 6 days in I really took a turn and was unable to get my breath. Never had anything like it. I drove myself to the ER and spent about 4 hours there and came home with a grocery list of drugs including steroids and inhalers. It took almost 6 weeks to get to the point where I just felt crappy. If this current bug is anything like that or worse then you really don't want it. It was 6 months before I began to feel better. So dO guess this latest big has me a little jiggy...

I'm so glad I no longer have to deal with the populace at large in a wholesale manner. My interactions these days involve people who typically want to see me. They tend to mostly be polite. Nice change.

Bless your heart.
