Henry had 143 rushing yards. 74 (or so) of them came on one run, so he only got 70-something for the rest of his carries. Not a huge night, IMO. I think the Titans have a curse on their WR's as they can't stay healthy or they don't produce. Going all the way back to when they signed Carl Pickens & Yancy Thigpen, they can't stay healthy. Now we've got Jones hurt again. I think they picked up this curse when they played at Vandy for a year.

Never would have bet that in a million years. This is the same team that lost to the winless NY Jets two weeks ago. Difference was, this game they played with a passion & the Bills did not match it.

If it were only true..........................................................

Never used those but they would seem to me to be difficult to use on something like a plate rack shoot. The rear wings would be hard to get lined up quickly for my tastes. *I* like the Truglo fiber optic sights. Some models are both fiber & night sights, a win-win for bad eyes like mine. Different colors front & rear allow for super quick indexing, at least in my case. Obviously everyone is different. An example of the style I prefer:

How much did it bring? I can't remember.

According to those who keep up with this sort of stuff, there's only two commemoratives in pistols that held their value or increased. These are the Franklin Mint-type of guns whose ads we see in the NRA magazines. The two they claim are the Texas Sequential models & the John Wayne models. Disagree or agree, that's what they say. I think the fact that True Grit is thought by many to be a Top 5 (or even Top 3) western is what drove the value of this sale. Obviously the gun used by Glen Campbell wouldn't have drawn that much, Wayne's legend drove it as well. But *I* doubt a gun from some other Wayne movie would've brought this sort of price, IMO. I wonder who the buyer was/is? And will he shoot it?

Ugh! Don't get ME started on Let's Go Brandon. LOL!

Bills by 3 TD's, IMO. Titans will get boat raced as they can't stop top tier teams, IMO. Might be Bills & Bucs in the SB?

I didn't see a single soul "justifying" the throwing of objects. Every single person condemned it. Some of us understood why it happened, but none of us condoned it. Not one.

I used to have season tickets for Vandy football & women's basketball. I promise you there's a share of idiots at Vandy as well. Mostly verbal, IMO. There was the tennis ball thrown onto the court during a Florida game at Dewayne Schintzius. Refs called a technical, he shot two free throws & beat Vandy with no time on the clock. CM Newton lost his mind over that loss. Schintzius died in 2012, which I didn't know. Only 43 years old. Good old superfan Vandy Lance was a horse's ass to Vince Gill when Belmont came in to play Vandy. He rode Gill like a rented mule the entire game, not really sure why as Gill certainly wasn't playing nor coaching. News reported today UT was fined $250k for the incident. I knew they would get fined but am not surprised by the amount.

Not been to Murfreesboro or Cookeville lately? Jeez, it's like they've been GIVING away houses there. If you guys think Knoxville is behind in infrastructure, take a drive though downtown Nashville or Chattanooga sometime. Both have only three lanes of interstate running each way through their downtown areas. Both are extremely complicated by the numerous uses of bridges, which would require replacing when the interstate adds lanes. I'd bet that'd be a 10 year project in either city. TN is restricted from borrowing money for road projects, which is a good thing, IMO. But it's a bit past critical & quickly advancing upon emergency, IMO.

Not been to a Little League game lately? Or a youth basketball game? Parents have been losing their minds at ballgames for decades now. Most leagues now have some sort of security at games, police or otherwise. I do believe they now allow beer sales at Neyland Stadium. Someone correct me if I'm wrong there. I would bet that gets suspended for a while. For the kids, go look up youtube vids of Cleveland's Disco Demolition Night. There was also a riot at a NFL Bengals game. Sam Wyche, Bengals coach, had to get on the PA & ask people to quit throwing whiskey bottles onto the field. Ironically, Sam's brother (Bubba) played at UT. None of this behavior is new nor recent. Doesn't make it right nor acceptable, but it's no where near something new.

Yes, because nothing quite says "class" like having the school song being accused of being racist. As Yogi Berra once said, you can look it up. I get you don't like UT, that's certainly not disguised. But to act like they're the only ones who have acted badly at a game is just ludicrous. But whatever.

I can name off almost a dozen instances of other SEC as well as non-SEC crowds whom became obnoxious. GA fans got tear gassed one year when they beat Florida. Tear gassed at a football game! UT fans tell story after story of having beer thrown or poured on them in Gainsville. Fulmer's wife & kids had to go get security one year when they became harassed beyond the normal. Even Vandy has been guilty of throwing things onto the field of play, resulting in fines to the school. It cost them a win against Florida one year when CM Newton was coach. Yes, it was a classless act on the fans part. But UT is by no means alone in this behavior, nor can I recall them doing this in the past. Not sure how you arrive at "as usual" in your comment. I also note Pred fans got into a fight with Seattle fans last week in Nashville at a hockey game. Classless Pred fans "as usual" there too?

Then you should see my ex-wife sometime.............................. LOL!

Yeah, I've serviced a canister type filter before. But it wasn't on TOP of the engine, it was somewhere on the side. Oil filter makes the most sense but it's odd looking, IMO.

Wow! How about the ending to the UT-Ole Miss game? LOL! What a fricking zoo! Not condoning the throwing of objects, but UT fans had a couple of reasons to be upset. They were robbed on a fumble recovery/TD return. No whistle had blown but somehow the ref decided that the play was dead despite NO whistle blowing. Robbed again on the late 4th & 27 pass & catch. Even if he was short, it was a horrible spot, IMO. Fans had over 20 years of frustration pent up & they let loose. Looked like mostly the student section. Vandy had a win on the road & managed once again to get both out-played and out-coached late in the game. Sad. LSU schooled Florida. I think Florida was way overconfident coming into that game & LSU made them pay. Bama & GA rolled, no surprise there. A&M had no Bama win hangover. Iowa got boat raced. LOL! I knew they were overrated, no way were they a Top 5 team. Cincinnati looks to be a for real team. UT will get boat raced by Bama next week, I'm afraid. Ole Miss vs LSU now seems to look like a game to watch, IMO.

Not sure what the big red canister is on the engine in the last pic? Anyone know? Is that a flathead motor? Sure looks like it.

Didn't see this owner either. I would love to know his investment. Has to be close to $100K. Custom paint, bumpers, decals, lights, winch, etc. 38" tires are probably close to $300 each, maybe more? As a multiple Jeep owner myself, I like it.
-
Someone certainly had some imagination on this thing. Again, I didn't get to speak to the owner. I wonder what chassis he used? Honda engine, mostly stock interior.
-
Didn't get to speak to this owner, sadly. I don't think I've ever seen one of these in person. Way cool design with the outside steps for reaching the top loaded luggage.

An engine *I* had never heard of before. 5.3L GM engine with a Detroit Diesel blower. I tracked down the owner to ask about the engine size & he explained he wanted something "different" after his last motor blew up on nitrus. LOL! Cockpit is quite cozy. Looks like a temp sensor on top of the tach?
