As much as I dislike Jerry Jones, I admit the Cowboys are much better this year.

Not even close to being THE worst, IMO. I went to a couple of shows there that had maybe 1/3 to 1/4 of the tables that were there last weekend. You could've walked those shows in 5 minutes if you wanted to. Last weekend's show was what I would call "typical" & nothing else. It was neither awful nor good, it was just the "usual". Some of you guys whom rag on gun shows should spend a few of them on the dealer's side of the table. See what's it's like to work all day Fri, come out & set-up that night, pay for a motel (many of them), work all day Sat & Sun, listen to every other buyer tell you "I can get it $10 cheaper on-line", pack up Sun evening, drive home & hope you made enough to break even. As for the "overpriced ammo" comment, I didn't note any pricing that was out of line from retail stores nor on-line pricing. I admit I didn't price all of the ammo tables though.

Wow! How about the Ole Miss-Arkansas game?! *I* would've went for 1pt & gone into O/T but the coach didn't seek my opinion. The OK-Texas game was also a last second win. OK scored with about 2 seconds left. UK continues to win, beating LSU. Their coach is working some serious magic, IMO. Looks like next weeks Big Game might be Bama-Miss State? UT-Ole Miss will be exciting as well. Congrats to Al Wilson getting into the College HOF! He seems to be a fine young man, never been in any trouble at all.

I carried a 29 for a long time. It's roughly the same size as the 30, IMO. I had no issues with concealment as a good belt & holster make all the difference. Recoil can be a wee bit snappy with some ammo. Not uncomfortable or anything, just noticeably a bit more than .45acp, IMO. Unless you're just married to a Glock, I would look at other 10mm models as well. There's better options out there, IMO.

What kind of accuracy are you getting? Say @ 20 yards?

I'm meeting a couple of buddies Sat morning. (Sounds like an old Goodman Show commercial.) I expect ammo to still be too high for common sense. I expect the over/under for 12ga pumps with 28" barrels for sale to be over 30. None will be priced for less than $300. At least the Expo food is a lot better than the Nashville Fairgrounds was . Yuck! Hope the knife sharpening guy is there.

Ha! They're rookies. You should read up on the Ford family out of Memphis. They were involved in shenanigans that would make a Clinton or Kennedy blush.

Jets are a bit misleading, IMO. Their d-line is one of the league's better lines. They also are using a rookie QB, which is a recipe for disaster in the NFL. But they played one of their best games all year & the Titans certainly played as bad as when AZ steamrolled them in the opener.

Ugly game on the Titan side. Tip of the hat to the Jets though. They played tough on both sides of the ball. Sacked Tanneyhill about a dozen times in the first half alone. 3-4 o-linemen went out for a period of time with injuries but all returned. The Jets just beat the hell out them, IMO. I do note that the Titan #1 & #2 WR's didn't play a down. That didn't help matters, IMO. But again, the Jets earned it.

Vandy wins on a last-second FG as time expires. This is at home, against THE worst Div 1 football team in the country. How embarrassing. Attendance was announced at 21k, but I doubt it was even half that. Bama gave Ole Miss an old fashioned ass whipping. MSU winning over A&M is a bit of a surprise, IMO. MSU might be the team no one wants to play in the next year or two. Would've never dreamed UT would've beaten Mizz like they did. Hopefully that will carry over to the SC game next week. UK beating Florida? UK is now 5-0 on the season. I doubt they can hang with GA but sill, they're cranking it up. What happened to Arkansas? Jeez, they got hammered. Back to earth they've crashed. Auburn over LSU but that's no real surprise, IMO. Auburn seems to be still having QB issues with Nix, lack of consistency seems to be a problem.

Actually, there is. Fake guns are often used in retention training as well as a few other types of training. Much safer than using real ones due to the level of stupidity of many trainers.

Anyone want to guess what the over/under on the UConn-Vandy game will be this Sat? They're arguably THE worst two teams in the NCAA, so it might be a 6-3 game, maybe even lower? LOL! I'm going to say 10-0, Vandy. I bet the crowd will be under 6k as well. 99% of those will be from free tickets to youth teams. LOL!
