I think we have a new member in the idiot HOF in TN. Seems some jackass ran into the back end of a Metro Nashville patrol car on I-40 around 2:30am. The patrol car had his lights on as he was on a call already when he was struck. How drunk does one have to be in order to hit a patrol car with his light bar going? It has been confirmed the driver was NOT Judge Gale Robinson, Jr. (Old guys will know what that's about. LOL!)

Yup. How did Indy manage to lose a game, at home, they're up by 14 & have the #2 rusher in the NFL & he was gashing the Titans defense regularly. How did they lose? Of course, their WR's dropped a lot of balls in the 2nd half though. Titans might've set a new team record with penalties, I'll have to check on that. Sloppy work by their DB's with all the pass interference calls too.

Yes, I watched the entire thing. I don't care about either team but watched it because it was simply a darn good game. Back & forth, players played hard. The RB from MSU is going to make $$$ in the NFL draft, IMO.

Seems the old directors/producers knew a thing or three about safety.

Eh, one could certainly shoot one of these if they were so inclined. I see it as buying a work of art of some sort, a painting or a piece of sculpture. Nice to look at but it doesn't serve a practical purpose in real life. The guys who buy these types of guns are the guys driving $100k cars, owns yachts, etc. They buy a $5k gun like we buy socks: w/o thinking about it.

Good for you & your Troop! As a for Cub Scout I am all for allowing the ladies to join the Boy Scouts. Quite honestly, I'm surprised the Girl Scouts still exist these days. Camping, field trips, merit badges, all that seems to be a lot more exciting than selling cookies outside Krogers. I think it helps those young ladies develop their leadership skills faster too.

Crime tracing is a major reason for age, sex & race on the 4473. Someone whom has a name like "Terry" or "Gale" may or may not be male. It helps ID someone for the po-po. As for HCP waiving the BGC, one could be under indictment (but not found guilty of anything) with a HCP. But they have to answer that on the 4473. Some of the small town legal systems don't always get as efficient as we would like.

Until a tranny wants to use the women's restroom somewhere. Or a changing room at a local gym. All that opens up a huge can of worms, IMO. I don't believe anyone with a weiner should be in a women's restroom or changing room. I don't care what they're wearing or how they think. I got the shots due to my having pneumonia 20 years ago & lost some lung capacity. I refuse to mask up as they're a complete & total waste of time & energy. They do NOTHING to prevent china flu. I do avoid large crowds & no long shake hands with just anyone. I also wash my hands more often than I used to. So far, so good. But this whole Govt mandate thing & kids now having to get shots is complete bull####, IMO. Johnson & Johnson is having some serious issues with their shots as well.

Another "no". The cylinder on the Special is a shorter length. A Mag rd would easily bind up the cylinder with the bullet nose, depending on the depth of the rd seating of course. I've read several articles or anecdotes about people trying to do that. All had issues trying that. It's not like swapping a .22 LR & a .22WMR cylinder or a .357mag & .38 spl ammo.

That's just good common sense to do so, IMO.

This 1911 is available for a mere $4,999. Plus tax & TICS, of course. I've actually held this exact gun. The pic doesn't do it justice, IMO. It's just a beautiful specimen of a Colt 1911. I'd rather spend the $4,999 on this over a Python, IMO.

Ordered two extra mags & got them today. I wanted the mags now as I bet they'll run out as the gun becomes more available. I didn't take mine out of the wrap, but I did see the "Croatia" on the wrapper. My FFL tells me I can't get mine until Dec or so, after the excitement has died down. He said he'll feel guilty if he loses too much $$ on my discount that he could be making on a hot selling gun.

Ole Miss lost their QB & then lost the game. GA rolled over Florida, no surprise there. MSU beating UK by two TD's, that's a surprise. Vandy scored 28 points in a loss, how'd they manage that many? MSU beats Michigan in an exciting game. Back & forth most of the game. That MSU RB is a stud! 5 TD's in one game! Penn State vs Ohio State. I can't decide which team I hate more. Iowa lost two in a row now & got rolled today. I knew they were overrated. Bowl Green's coach got ejected. I can't remember the last time a football HC got ejected from a game. Anyone know? LOL!

Personally, for that kind of scratch, *I* would prefer a custom 1911 of some sort. $4k would score a NIB SA Professional or a serious Ted Yost or some other top tier 1911, IMO.

Well, many in here are using a "wait & see" point of view. Clearly that's their right to do so. As for public outrage, is there any outrage when there's 50 shootings over a weekend in Chicago? Or Baltimore? Not really, other than the gun grabbers using that as a bloody prop for their agenda. As much as Baldwin has ridiculed Tump on tv, you honestly think the media is going to roast him? They're going to cover for him much like they cover for Pedo Biden's dementia. Doesn't make it right, but that's what it is, IMO.

An empty chamber is a good idea for young kids as well. Obviously this won't apply to a revolver. But a young kid won't be able to rack a slide.

Sadly. I think I've read 2-3 stories this year about elementary age kids being found with a gun at their school. WTF are their parents doing that a kid that young can take a gun to school? I would imagine the majority of those kids have no father in the home either.
