  1. Thanks guys. I’ve done several hours on these since the trade. Apparently they are more of a budget gun. Not really an issue personally. I’m weird though. I still swear my Taurus PT99 AFS shoots better than my M9 Beretta in the Army did. I have not shot the Zastava yet. I wanted to take it apart and make sure mechanically it’s safe. Clean it up and then let it rip. I just couldn’t find any assembly/disassembly in English! I may just field strip it and use good old spray cleaner and REM oil, a good wipe and let it rip. I may end up getting the frame cerakoted. It looks a bit beat up when the finish it wore off. I guess I will see how it goes. Probably not worth re-coating but I think looks are important. Also looks like Zastava made a CZ999 that seems to be a civilian or updated version of it.
  2. Ray I will give you 20.00 for gas if you go pick it up for me? You can even keep it for a week or so then give it to me. Up to you. Let me know where you stand on this VERY lucrative offer from me sir!
  3. Yeah I think if in Maryville then Tennessee Silencer is the place to go. If I remember right they are just outside of Maryville in Seymour. Volunteer State Armory in Lenoir City is a class 3 dealer but I had to go to sheriff to fingerprint and Walgreens for picture. I completed my paperwork and sent in nearly a year ago and I’m assuming the Biden ATF are dragging there feet or maybe I am a criminal who can legally buy guns but not class 3 items. Mine is a 2 stamp application don’t know if it takes longer for a Can and a sbr. i love Mr Cash in Lenoir city but wish I would have just went to TN Silencer.
  4. Bought an AR recently. Purchased more for lower to pair with my “ninja” built upper. Really great shape. S&W M&P brand. Carbine length gas system. Magpul extended hand guard. Cheap China scope. Illuminated rectical. Milspec charging handle with new milspec PSA BCG. Nothing fancy but reliable and dependable. Seller kept original BCG. I had one left from a PSA rifle. Ran 30-40 rounds without any issues. Not trying to get rich just seeing if someone else needed an upper. 200.00 firm. East Tennessee area. Bristol to Chattanooga.
  5. My Beretta m9a3, Taurus pt99, and a new guy a Zastava cz99 do not! They live in the safe! The rest are “throughout” the house. Hellcat and Glock 19 are daily carries.
  6. Every pistol has a light! I’m not one of the “oh I can’t print!” Guys. Most of the time I use a high and tight OWB holster with my shirt over it. Maybe I should care what others think but I don’t. My weapon is for my safety. I don’t care if the bad guys sees me as a target. Good that means others are not. Hellcat had a TLR7sub, Glock 19,23,&32 all have tlr1s, bed side guns Glock 17 has Baldr Pro and Sig M17 has tlr1. All rifles have lights except AR10 style rifle. But it’s not set up as a. defensive gun. All guns have lights. Maybe I’m scared of the dark!!
  7. Howdy fellers! I just made a trade. Part of that trade was a Zastava cz99. It looks like a great little pistol. About the size of a Glock 19. Looks almost identical to an Sig p226. Other than trigger guard I dont see a difference. Maybe a clone? Any info on this pistol would be great. Thanks
  8. Sure wish you were closer. This is one of my 5 must have to survive guns. Fair price for sure.
  9. ####!!!! Why oh why!!! Exactly what I’m looking for. Wrong side of the state! Please tell me you were taking your wife to East Tennessee for the weekend!!!
  10. That 226 is sexy!!! Gonna make me lose sleep tonight!! Beautiful!
  11. You want me to dig through all my junk!! Moved to and from Virginia and a temporary rental in Lenoir City till my house was completed and then moved here to my home in Ten Mile. Ok I’m going in!!! If I don’t make it back don’t let my wife sell my stuff for what I told her they cost!
  12. I want to say PSA has a Marlin 45-70 “modern” lever gun for a decent price.
  13. I want to say I have a Marlin 336 maybe? It’s a lever action 30-30Win rifle. Hell it’s about 30-32 inches long. I believe it’s a 94 model so probably a bit of Remington in it. I shoot my first dear with one exactly like it. Nostalgia is the only reason I bought it. I don’t even think I have ever shot it! Damn I’m getting old!
  14. I think I could interested in any “junk” training style ammo. I will PM you.
  15. Welcome!!! Simper FI!!! I do have extra crayons if you’re hungry!! I keep some for the occasional Marine! I am a Navy and a Corps brat that served in the Army. I played in the sand box for 2 tours. I have lived all over the US. Never had that “hometown” that most do. If I had to choose one it would be Parris Island or Quantico. East Tennessee feels like my hometown though. Great People for the most part. Again, welcome sir and I and my family of veterans are so grateful for your service.
  16. Oh man I wish you were closer!! Really ideal package I been looking for!!
  17. He/she hasn’t been on site since Aug 17. Which is over a month now. I would be very patient for a reply to any PM.
