  1. I think it is a flowering cherry tree, Erik.
  2. I use corn cob pet bedding. It works great, by is a little larger than I’d like, as I always have to dig pieces out of rifle brass.
  3. I would think a factory could manufacture one for no more than $300.
  4. Do you have any guesses as to why it is so pricey? I am not familiar with the maker. It just looks like a bubba’d AK to me.
  5. ...and what is hanging under the barrel? https://palmettostatearmory.com/fime-group-rpk47-vepr-7-62x39-ak-47-rifle-with-folding-trapdoor-stock-black-fmrpk4733.html?trk_msg=AUH31VP1JUDKN90UHQDE61FAPC&trk_contact=J0O6F96VK99PH79FM828GOBMF8&trk_sid=BCM7S0BB8N29HKPE625JQVOPDC&utm_source=Listrak&utm_medium=email&utm_term=SHOP+NOW&utm_campaign=Daily+Deal+Email&utm_content=12%3a00+Email
  6. I have an idea. Let’s try and execute this guy for his crimes. Determining why he did it at this point is an exercise in futility unless you are looking to use this senseless crime as political fodder. In a court of law, it should not matter what anyone’s race is nor the reason for the crime. You should determine whether or not the defendant is guilty, and if he is, punish him accordingly for his crimes. I would like to see him tried today and publicly hung tomorrow.
  7. Thank you for responding.
  8. It seems very important to report that he once attended a Southern Baptist church.
  9. Please expound on how masks reduce the severity of covid. That’s a new one for me.
  10. If I were buying one, I guess I'd spring for a pallet of ammo to go with it. I'm not sure WalMart stocks it. Just pretend for a moment you had brass and dies (neither of which exists), who makes 31 caliber pistol bullets? I guess you could make a custom mold and powder coat? LOL! I think I'll just stick with my trusty old 38 rimfire.
  11. I have a 4" EMP that wouldn't reliably extract. I adjusted the extractor and all is well. It is a nice looking pistol, but for the money they charge, you'd think one could expect them to work out of the box.
  12. Same as drug dealers I expect. Everyone pays one way or another.
  13. Because it has racial overtones and “gun violence”. In other words, it fits the narrative.
  14. Expect congress to milk this for all it’s worth for pushing gun control legislation.
  15. Definitely not safe for work, church, etc. Heck! You ought not watch it yourself!
  16. I blame Asians, but only a small group in China; definitely not anyone at a massage parlor in Atlanta.
  17. It keeps getting worse.
  18. I should ad BJB to this list. If you don’t have one of his flags, you need one.
  19. I use a similar one.
  20. Yep!
  21. Yep. In 1945 the dropped the VS prefix when they swapped back to commercial models from making the Victory military models. At that time, they kept the S prefix until 1948. I didn’t write this from memory. It is in Roy Jinks’ wonderful book.
  22. Good. Not much lost. Get on ebay and pick out a set. Oh yeah...you aren’t an idiot. Stuff happens.
  23. That’s an old model 10. It’s a K frame. Any K frame square butts will fit it. If you’re intent on bouncing it on the floor, you might look at a set of pachmayrs. The old diamond magnas have become somewhat expensive, but ebay will offer you a plethora of options and price ranges. They are very common and easy to find. Those are fine revolvers by the way, but I’m sure you already knew that. What kind of grips did you break. If they were original, you might be able to glue them back together, or at least sell them to someone who’d like to rob the emblems, screw and escutcheons from them.
  24. 5 shot or 6? Could you post a pic? Unless it’s really old, it should have a model number stamped on the frame inside the crane when you open the cylinder.
