  1. While it is legal for one between the ages of 18 and 21 to have a loaded handgun in their vehicle, I wouldn't advise it. I've found that many police thrive on intimidating minors, and most know very little about law. My son and I have recently had this discussion.
  2. You ain't new! Glad to see you back. Merry Christmas.
  3. Glad to have you here. Merry Christmas!
  4. Glad to meet you!
  5. I like the way you talk! Welcome aboard. You'll enjoy the low taxes and lack of regulations here. You'll like the beautiful scenery here, from the pool table flat West Tennessee to the mountains of East Tennessee. You likely won't care for the summer humidity. We call it "weather you can wear".
  6. Sounds like you'll fit right in. Welcome to TGO!
  7. Welcome to the forum, and to the hillbilly heaven that is Tennessee.
  8. I'm currently working on a bottle of Maker's Mark. So far, the best Christmas present I've received this year.
  9. I've little knowledge of SMLE rifles, but I'm guessing that since it's stamped "England" and has a crown proofmark, that it's chambered for 303. Looks like we won't get to see the entire rifle.
  10. Did they have British proof marks?
  11. 303 Brit?
  12. http://www.hud-son.com/products/product-detail/board-master?gclid=CL_u1N6RgdECFdM2gQod7doJ5w It ain't but $56. Why not give it a whirl?
  13. Wind was blowing trees over here yesterday, although it was warm. Today, it simply wasn't fit to be outdoors.
  14. Anyone who went deer hunting this weekend has my respect.
  15. For the most part, my answer would be yes. I've no reason to go to Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington D.C., etc.
  16. I see no use in them past being a novelty. Marbles marketed something similar nearly a century ago. They come up for sale every now and then. Collectors like them, but I just don't see much utility there.
  17. I see no use in them past being a novelty. Savage marketed something similar nearly a century ago. They come up for sale every now and then. Collectors like them, but I jst don't see much utility there.
  18. An M&P IS a revolver. Later referred to as the Model 10. I'm not sure what this abomination is.
  19. Unless they are hanging from a metal detector one has to walk through, I rarely, if ever, see these signs you speak of. I'm too busy paying attention to my surroundings. I've never been harmed by a sign, so they tend to get little notice.
  20. You can if you have the inclination. If I can do it, it ain't that hard.
  21. Shoot a mess of squirrels after deer season is over. Fry them, or make squirrel and dumplings. After that, fish!
  22. It is my son's SP 101. I really like the stitching pattern on your pancake holster.
  23. Glad to hear it wasn't a bust. The Sparta show wasn't bad, and was very well attended.
  24. I think there's also one in Sparta this weekend. Do these folks do this on purpose?
  25. I'm sitting here trying to figure out how yo did that!!??!! That's just cool!
