  1. Now save up, go back, and get that AK!!!!
  2. Very interesting! It's been a while since I've been there, but the Tennessee State Museum in Nashville has a pretty good collection of Tennessee made firearms. I do not recall if this brand was included. Might be worth a look, ot at least a call.
  3. Then you won't really accomplish much when voting, will you? It's not that I disagree with your statement here, but I believe the two party system needs to be changed. Our efforts to that end will be much more profitable than any effort put toward electing nimrod #1 instead of nimrod #2 (Romneycare instead of Obamacare).
  4. If reelected, I believe the Democrats will focus on getting more and more citizens onto the public dole, thereby ensuring perpetual reelection of their party.....much the same plan as the Republicans have. These two groups put on a public show for you, and sit back and laugh as you swallow it, hook line and sinker. I don't see how more of you can't see this.
  5. I enjoy trading guns. I don't see the point in trading if you lose money, or break even. I certainly don't do enough volume to make an FFL a worthwhile proposition. If I make any money, it goes right back into collecting and shooting guns. I thought that was how a hobby worked. Sort of like racing cars or tornament fishing. If you win some money racing, does that make it a business instead of a hobby? I'm guessing selling to a known felon is what got these guys in trouble to begin with. If so, I've got no problem with it. I sure would like to see the laws defined more clearly as to what constitutes a business versus a hobby, however. How would buying guns as an investment differ from muscle cars, mutual funds, gold, etc? You don't, to my knowledge, need to have any business license to do any of the latter. If you look at the list of guns involved in this case, these aren't what are confiscated from drug dealers and gang bangers. These are mostly collector guns.
  6. At your age, you are far ahead of the game in your way of thinking. I'd like to share a few observations with you. I am 39 years old, have a wife and two kids. We have worked hard, and now have everything we need, and most of what we want. I have discovered in recent years that even the most successful among us are but a fart in a whirlwind in the grand scheme of things. I've also discovered that doing something you have a passion for is much more fulfilling than simply making a big pot of money. As I age, I place less and less importance on a dollar. The things I find more and more important are family, health, and helping others. You will continue to mature with age and life experience. Do what you think you love. If it turns out it's not your calling, try something else. If you do something you really like and have an interest in, you'll be great at it, and the money will come. Life is too short to spend all week doing something you dread and hate. Money is just green paper. You can spend it, save it, or give it away. Short of that, it isn't very useful. Don't obsess on it. As far as wanting more from life, if that feeling ever goes away, what point is there in living? You need to be improving, learning, and striving to do everything better as long as there is health left in your body. The key is not to obsess over it. Sometimes you just need to sit back and enjoy life for what it is.
  7. Be careful it doesn't melt!
  8. I believe Tandy Leather sells it. I'd call before I drove very far to be sure, however.
  9. What is a trade name for fexophenadine? I googled it, and found Allegra. It is expensive, and for me doesn't seem to work at all. Thanks for the suggestion, however.
  10. Horse feces!!!!! We were told the same thing about the register deal of keeping up with the sale of pseudoephedrine. All it does is inconvenience law abiding citizens. It's done nothing to curb the problem. Making it prescription only will only fill doctors' waiting rooms, and make it impossible to see a doctor if you actually need one. If it becomes prescription only, I'll likely buy it on the black market, as I don't go to a doctor except to get broken bones set or something sewn up that won't stop bleeding. If you know of an alternative to it that actually helps seasonal allergy symptoms, please share.
  11. You'll need an account at a site such as photobucket. Save the pictures there. Scroll over the picture, and copy the IMG code at the bottom of the pull down window and paste it here.
  12. Jim, would you post some photos?
  13. Very nice!
  14. I saw a tree chasing a dog!!!
  15. I'll go out on a limb and guess you don't have children.....at least I hope not.
  16. I sort of agree with your comment, but I can say that I've seen some of what I thought were pretty good, if a bit too impressionable, young kids ruin their lives with the stuff. When I was young, it didn't take too much persuasion to get me to try or to do something. I'm not saying I would have tried this, but thank God it wasn't available to me. I have kids, and I would sure prefer it wasn't available to them either.
  17. If you all think everything will be alright in November just as long as Romney is elected....well, I feel sorry for you. I'll wear my big pants the day Romney is successful in getting this law repealed, so monkeys can fly out of my butt! ROMNEY INVENTED OBAMACARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  18. How much more are you willing to take?
  19. You're damned right they can....along with any other aspect of your life they decide to interfere with. I can think of basically nothing that can't be linked to one's health. This is the beginning of a never ending power grab that has nothing to do with healthcare except for the decptive name.
  20. http://www.barefootfarmer.com/ Our local hippie is quite self sufficient, and a very educated, kind, and interesting person.
  21. How the hell did this get tried so quickly? Oh yeah, I'd say the jury made the right call.
  22. Your property WAS stolen and destroyed. The money used to hold this event was confiscated from you in the form of taxes!!!!
  23. I'm very surprised the police let that go on.
  24. Very interesting. Thanks. I never looked at it from an LEO's point of view.
