  1. As far as mixes go, Martha White made a Cotton Pickin Cornbread mix that wasn’t bad. I assume they went woke and changed the name recently. I guess their Cotton Country Cornbread mix replaced it?
  2. 1 cup self rising flour 1 cup corn meal 1 tsp salt 6 TBSP melted butter 2 eggs 1 cup milk 1 TBSP (or so) vegetable oil Preheat oven to 400. Oil bottom of skillet (cast iron) and place in preheating oven. Mix flour, meal, salt, milk, beaten eggs, and melted butter in bowl. Put mixture in heated, oiled skillet and bake 20-25 minutes. (Half recipe for small skillet.)
  3. Coker tire sells new ones, but they’ll get in your wallet!
  4. I thought that sounded pretty powerful.
  5. Reason I say riding on the shoulder is a bad idea is mainly because that’s where all the trash and debris that causes flat tires ends up. You are well aware of how much fun a flat motorcycle tire is I’m sure.
  6. That makes me feel slightly better.
  7. I can pick up a rifle once a year and be fairly proficient with it. A handgun has never been that way for me. If I don’t shoot them often, I really struggle.
  8. Good Lord! That’s quite a haul on a little one cylinder bike.
  9. I hate helmet laws, although you’ll never see me on a bike without one. Lane splitting is a very bad idea in my mind. So is riding on the shoulder.
  10. I’d like to thank everyone who participated in this thread. It inspired me to get out and shoot quit a bit lately. That has resulted in my being able to hit what I’m aiming at once again!!!
  11. I’ve found no fault with my CZ75, except I’d prefer to have an ambi safety lever.
  12. Equal parts: Honey Mustard Hot Sauce Teriyaki Marinade and grill. It is delicious! 1/3 cup each for 4-6 breasts
  13. Co-Op still had their normal shelf full of saws at the regular price. He said they’d sold more than normal since Friday, but they sell a bunch of saws every day, so he had plenty. I got a Stihl MS 170 with a 16” bar. It weighs a little more than half what my old saw weighs and seems to cut just as good. Best of all, it actually runs!
  14. My old chainsaw finally laid down on me yesterday. I may go look, but I’ll be surprised if there are any on the shelves around here right now.
  15. I still use some powders in the metal cans that don’t even have a UPC barcode on them. Bad powder smells funky. My concern would be that the contents match the container label.
  16. To be honest, I’ll watch Fox Business Network sometimes. I don’t put money on anything they say either.
  17. Nothing but Rachael Maddow is allowed at our house!
  18. I have several trees down, but there isn’t anything under them, so that’s good.
  19. You guys all ok?
  20. Sir, I didn’t mean it as a slur. I just thought the pics looked like a nickel gun. You’ve correctly identified it as a heavy frame target. I’m not saying they didn’t offer them in nickel. I was only curious if it was indeed what it looked like.
  21. Is the finish nickel, or is it the lighting that makes it appear that way?
  22. I’ve honestly never had to screw with them. I would expect them to come trued and torqued to spec. If not, I’d expect any of those made for bicycles would work.
  23. No idea. Could you refresh my memory?
  24. The media is among the most formidable foes we face today. It isn’t what they tell you that’s the problem. It’s what they don’t!
