  1. That's funny, as I have never hears or read anything good about them.
  2. Attempted robbery suspect shot by victim - Action News 5 - Memphis, Tennessee I'm sure dude is about to be unemployed, but oh well. This is how it is supposed to work. No way would I deliver pizza without a gun (or several!).
  3. That's more than McNuggets. That's anything that lists "mechanically separated chicken" as an ingredient. Chicken nuggets you buy at the grocery store, breaded chicken patties, hot dogs, etc. Still doesn't make it any less tasty.
  4. LOL, y'all are crazy, everybody knows UT is in Austin.
  5. Damn, dude. I'm dying reading the comments folks have left on their facebook photos.
  6. You say that now,but let it get to closing time at the bar...
  7. I've had them before, quite tasty. There is a good chicken/tater ratio. It isn't all taters no chicken.
  8. He'll sell it after a month so what does it matter If it is a safe queen? Lulz.
  9. This puzzles me as it seems to be quite an addition to what the TCA actually states. Not that that should surprise me.
  10. You are fine Lester as you are a non-student adult and as long as the gun is not handled while on campus. The appropriate section of TCA 39-17-1309

This pretty much sums it up. The apex parts make a good gun a great gun.
  12. I've always been a sucker for a happy ending.
  13. Issa just set Holder on fire. He isn't going to be holding that job for very much longer. This letter to Atty. General Holder was released by Congressman Issa's office. Thanks to Sipsey Street Irregulars: Holder Ridge Defenses Overrun. Holder isolated in his bunker, awaiting the coup de grâce. "Feldmarschall Holder ist kaput!" for the transcript.
  14. I think you might be, Atty. Gen Holder is going to end up under the bus on this one, either resignation, fired or impeached. The MSM won't be able to ignore it when that happens.
  15. Something that may help clarify this issue further is that at my current and past employers, they didn't have a separate "Firearms" policy. Firearms are/were covered under the "Workplace Violence" policies. They view employee possession of firearms as tantamount to an act of violence and therefore, not allowable under any circumstances. Possession of a firearms at anytime while on company property is considered the same as punching a coworker or customer, on or off the clock and therefore subject to immediate termination.
  16. I am a retail manager and this is how my company differentiates which policies would apply on the clock or off/on the clock. What I would call ceremonial policies, such as dress and appearance or anything that does not involve safety, loss prevention, or maintaining good order, apply only when on the clock. If it has to potential to cause damage to the stores bottom line, it applies all the time. So if it can be viewed as having the possibility to endanger another (weapons or unsafe behavior) or damage morale or workplace discipline (fighting, disrespectful actions or words to others) or otherwise be a loss prevention issue (theft, etc.) then you need to fly right when on the company property.
  17. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/handguns/63126-firearms-violence-tennessee.html Brian Haas has been discussing this article here for a few days prior to publication.
  18. Actually in California, if I understood all I have read correctly, Unarmed Open Carry, allows you to carry the weapon in an unloaded state while having loaded magazines on your person as well.
  19. They have test marketed Nacho Cheese and COOL RANCH (!!!!!!OMGWANTNOMNOMNOM!!!!!).
  20. If you don't have plans for Saturday and don't mind getting into the city itself, Cooper Young Festival is going on. It is an annual street festival that I know I always enjoy. It is located, oddly enough, at the corner of Cooper St and Young Ave. It is definitely arts oriented and has lots cool vendors and a great mix of music over 3 stages. The wife and some of my friends will be hitting in probably early in the day. Here is a link to their website. Cooper Young Festival
  21. Restaurants want a piece of food stamp pie Here is the direction this is all going.
  22. Absolutely DO NOT order any from Customkillergrips.com I put in an order close to a year ago, never received the grips and after multiple emails went unresponded to had to get on their facebook page and request a refund. It was promised, but never delivered. Shady, shady, shady.
  23. Cleaned out my box, sorry. Haven't renewed my Benefactor status yet, lost the extra storage space.
  24. Definitely open to this option. I may be pretty good at retail, but I don't exactly love it by any means.
  25. Thanks all for the advice and information offered. I am going to try to transfer with Walgreens, that would be optimal. However, come spring we will be making the move with or without Walgreens as my employer. I will say that by searching Indeed.com The market appears to be MUCH better in the MidTN area than Memphis. Currently Nashville-Davidson-Murfreesboro-Metro has an unemployement rate of 8.4 while Memphis is 10.4 That's a big difference for 2.5 hours drive.
