It was actually mine, but I decided not to get it as I was more interested in getting my hands on one of the Girsan models that had a rail. It was announced while I was waiting for the SA-35 to arrive.

Not sure where you were going with the original post, but as far as the direction this post is pointed, all I can say is “Don’t”. Not commenting one way or another about the details, we just don’t talk general politics here. If it is directly related to 2A legislation then we are about that. R vs D vs (?), not wanted.

@Grayfox54Glad you made the trip and got it. Though I’ve since moved to Jackson, Cypress Creek is still my LGS of choice. Best way I can describe it is a locally owned Bass Pro/Cabela’s. Love that place.

They must be long overdue at my door. I’ve been shttalking him for years.

He was charged with murder in Idaho, but the feds stepped in and prevented prosecution. Bastards.

He has rejoined Vicki and Sammy. Also, F UCK Lon Horiuchi’s murdering ass. I have a policy of not dancing on graves but I look forward to hearing about him rotting in hell.

Mine is full of reasons that I am being closely watched by and going to eventually get raided by a three letter agency.

Cypress Creek Outdoors in Dyersburg had one sitting in the case.

So, about that optic. Anyone else got any suggestions?

If you’re of the mind for an LPVO, I’d look hard at this one. https://www.primaryarms.com/pa-1-6x24mm-ffp-illuminated-rifle-scope-with-acss-raptor-556-reticle-black The reticle is one of my favorite and they make a surprisingly solid optic for the price point. The glass is pretty decent and it’s fairly rugged. I may sound halfhearted in my description, but I’m not really. I’m a snob who generally buys glass that’s 3-5x the price of this so my expectations are proportionately higher as well. For the <$500 budget, these are an excellent choice.

I’m guessing you’re not on Instagram or Twitter much.

2010 was such a simpler time.

I use both red dots and LPVOs, but I think the first question that should’ve been asked is what’s your budget? We can throw out suggestions from bottom dollar to more expensive than diamonds. But if you tell us what you’re looking to spend, then we can find you the best quality optic in your price range.

This subject isn’t directly related to 2A legislation. Locking thread.

Author of one of my all time favorite books, Unintended Consequences. This is a sad day for those of us in the gun culture. https://www.facebook.com/100002421818050/posts/5018748048215873/?d=n

Ya didn’t forget how to do it I’m guessing.

There’s another facet to our system not doing the training part of what it takes to fill labor slots effectively. There’s also the question of are the requirements for the job realistic or even necessary? If it is cheaper to fill a position with a post secondary educated H1B then with a high school educated native, it begs the question as to whether the degree is actually necessary, or just an arbitrary requirement.
-
You’ve mentioned that solution before, but it’s a solution that ultimately only helps shareholders as the primary effect isn’t filling up positions, but driving down the wage point those positions can be filled at.

Works in regular .308 mags AR mags.
-
Nope. Steel base, brass body, connecting washer. It’s designed to stuff something with similar energy to a .30-06 with 6mm ballistics into a .308 case.

This is going to be interesting.

OK, that was me. I fat fingered the destination on my phone. Thank you for catching that and bringing it to our attention.

New ATF rules dropped today.
Chucktshoes replied to Chucktshoes's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
No, a firearm will have only a single part declared as the serialized part and all previously determined firearms will stand as is. The lower receiver on an AR, the upper on an FAL or 91. A new design brought to market will have to have the ATF declare what is to be the serialized part. That was unclear in the summary, but laid out very clearly in the text of the rules.
