Must be more of an easterly thing. Here obviously, and all my folks in MS, AR, AL, GA and even down into LA are all in the y’all camp. —-Just looked it up and this is what I found.—- According to the linguists on the interwebs, that’s an Appalachian bit of dialect. Also, my call of sounding like “yinz” like you hear up in PA was correct as it actually is a shortened version of “you-uns” which is a shortening of “you ones”. Y’all has a completely separate etymological origin. https://www.atlasobscura.com/articles/yall-youuns-yinz-youse-how-regional-dialects-are-fixing-standard-english -

You-uns? That sounds awfully close to Yinz. -

You got too many damn Yankees moving in over there. Pretty soon the east Tennessee accent is going to be indistinguishable from the New York one. -

I’m moving from Dyersburg to Jackson this weekend. I’m looking forward to joining the Tennessee sports foundation and having access to an outdoor range with longer distances. I’ve heard good things about it. Thanks for this thread. A little bit of a palate cleanser and breather is definitely needed. -
What we advise is that you make a post in the thread asking for a PM from the seller. If they wish to respond, they will. Also, actually engage legitimately with your posting as the moderation staff takes a dim view of junk posts that are obviously just trying to up a post count above the required threshold. We regret the inconvenience, but it the way it is.

Whelp, that didn’t last long.

Damn it! I knew the NSA was using my laptop camera to spy on me.

You hit the nail on the head regarding a Pro model of the SR9. Everyone I talk to who owned or carried the SR9 things that would have been a significant upgrade and good seller. The SR series were better guns than both of the following offerings from Ruger.

Can’t say for say for certain because the resolution isn’t that great, but I’m gonna say it’s an 870. It appears to have a cross bolt safety like the 870 as opposed to a Mossberg style tang safety.

Question about police parked on the side of the road at night
Chucktshoes replied to jeff43's topic in General Chat
Well, if the bill currently in the state legislature is passed, then those folks won’t be parked there anymore because we all know that it’s really all about revenue generation. https://blog.tenthamendmentcenter.com/2022/02/tennessee-bills-would-end-civil-asset-forfeiture-opt-state-out-of-federal-program/
