Was the drive encrypted? If so, you're almost guaranteed to have lost your data in a way that is not going to lend itself to being recovered. Encryption is a great idea, but without a sound backup strategy in place can be really dangerous. An encrypted drive, as a general rule depends on the integrity of the whole volume. If some of the volume becomes corrupted, as it does when heads start skipping (that clicking sound) then the decryption engine won't be able to decrypt the data as the stream coming into the engine is corrupt.

Reloading is a must to get reasonable ammo cost. Otherwise, I think the round has a lot to offer. I'm shooting 338 Spectre, which is essentially a .338 calibler bullet in a necked down 10mm mag case.

No problem shooting shorter 2 3/4 shells. It's dangerous to go longer and shoot 3 1/2". Generally, you can shoot shorter shells than the shotgun is rated for without problems. Shooting a longer shell than the gun is rater for can cause a situation where the crimp isn't able to fully open thus creating a dangerous barrel obstruction.

Check out the aholster pocket holster for it. I carry an M&P 340CT, and haven't found a better holster. Full house .357 is a handful, but I also find it quite controllable. Let me know if you wan to try one, and I'll throw an extra one that I've got in the mail and you can try it out.

I'm closing this thread per WD-40's comments above. I tend to agree that this thread was only meant to stir up trouble, and as such, the OP should consider this appropriate warning.

It's all relative. I figure it's pretty cheap when taking into account both my time and the cost of other wildcat brass. I'm sure I could turn out a holder to trim 5.56 brass on the lathe and then size the necks, but I'm looking at a whole weekend to even approach that kind of quantity. For me, with running a company during the week and having a young family, $0.23/round is reasonable for brass that's going to last several loadings. Didn't you make a bunch of brass not too long ago?

Dang it! Somehow I've set up this prop in my mind that I didn't need to get into the caliber because I don't really have the time to make brass in the quantity I'm going to shoot. It's not really true - but it's kept me from calling AAC and buying an upper thus far. Now you just go and knock all that down.

20mm is actually only equivalent to .787 caliber. The .950 would be roughly equivalent to 24mm. That's a big rifle!

Both Freedom Arms on the high end and Charter Arms on the lower end make 327 Federal models, too. Neither are hammerless, though.

The 632 is usually a little closer to $600 on the street. Taurus makes a 327 hammerless, too. I think it's called a model 327. They're less than $300 on the street.
