  1. Nice review, and a nice pistol. You may as well just go ahead and tear up those New Year's resolutions.
  2. I transferred mine in through Joe.
  3. That's really nice!
  4. Wow! Good luck and Godspeed.

    Fake Rolex

I'll add an extra caution to anyone thinking of supporting them, that your $400 Rolex knock off very well may get confiscated at the border if customs happens to scan the package. Single watches shipping from an individual overseas to an individual in the states are almost all counterfeits. You are definitely rolling the dice dealing with these guys.

    Fake Rolex

There are some truly amazing counterfeits out there today, if you can use that term to describe a fake. Especially in the space of the major watches - Submariner, Navitimer, etc... there are some counterfeits that literally look like they came from the same factory. "Cyclops" is right, fonts are right movement is right, holograms are correct, lug spacing, serial numbers, etc... We've done some work in the space, and even have seen cases of genuine dealers being fooled and taking them in on trade. Of course, by the time you've bought a good counterfeit, you've spent a good bit of money that could be put toward the genuine article. These aren't your Times Square specials.
  7. Or paddling a quiet lake with my four year-old on the paddleboard first thing in the morning.
  8. Early morning coffee on the beach with a couple of good friends after catching a great set of waves.
  9. It might be worth giving Tom over at Guns for America a call. I bought some subsonic 5.56 made by Engel Ballistic Research from him recently. He may stock the .308 stuff as well.
  10. Awesome! Can't wait to see some pictures.
  11. Love big bore airguns. Kudos to Crosman for upping the ante a bit. Looking forward to seeing how this one performs.
  12. I just finished watching The Pacific last night. Amazon had it for $39, so Santa decided I needed to have it. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Everyone should watch this series, as Hanks and Speilberg have done a great job with it. A lot of people initially complained that it was not as good as Band of Brothers. It was certainly different than Band of Brothers, but I thought it was every bit as good. Where the first series had the natural story of the men of Easy Company, The Pacific focuses more on a few individual men in the 1st Marine Division and their stories throughout the war. If anything, this series shows how different this theater was from the European Theater. They may as well have been completely different wars, and the creators did a great job showing that. If you have not seen this series, you really ought to get yourself a copy, or at least throw it in your Netfilx queue. You won't be disappointed.
  13. Love that bear mount, Erik. That's pretty cool.
  14. Nice review. Thanks for posting. Glad you enjoyed the class. Your first defensive pistol class is definitely an eye opener.
  15. Wish I had seen that one first. Then I wouldn't be hearing Japanese voices in my head while folding my shirts.
  16. Really? He's declared bankruptcy what, like 46 times now? Maybe he's a good fit, then. At least he'll be familiar with the process.
  17. For a company your size, it probably doesn't matter, and frankly, you seemed to have answered your own question.* Assigning static IP addresses is not hard, but DHCP through the router should work just fine for you. * Make sure you lock down the router, and consider making your available DHCP pool match the number of physical devices you have to increase your security.
  18. One of my goals for this year is to be able to do some of my own thermoforming for simple kydex stuff. Knife sheaths, pocket holsters, etc... My reaction is always kind of like Erik's. Everytime I spend $60 on a holster, I think, "Seriously? I know I could do this." Knifekits.com has some good quality tools for pretty decent prices. I figure my $200 is going to be offset pretty quickly. But stay off of CountyComm. I don't want you griping to me about how you blew your whole morning, and found all this stuff that you had no idea you needed so badly.
  19. Knifekits.com has kydex and concealex, which are both thermoforming plastics in 1ftx1ft sheets for a couple of dollars a piece. If you've never been there, it's kind of like CountyComm. Be prepared to waste some time and spend 50 bucks.
  20. The SRK would be a great first project for someone wanting to press their own kydex and roll their own. Since it's concentric and only really has one fold, you could likely get away with a heat gun, an old closed cell camping pad and a couple of pieces of plywood.
  21. Raven Concealment makes one, and it's a good one. That said, it will cost you almost what the blade did. Raven Concealment Systems A lot of guys also carry them in Spec Ops Combat Masters as well. It's got the benefit of a pocket on the front to carry some other kit. I used one with a Rat RC-5 for a couple of years with good success. COMBAT MASTER
  22. I wouldn't discount it. The mind can play some wild tricks. But, I can attest to having seen the post-use break outs.
  23. The SRK has always been a good, reliable blade. The sheath does suck, but it's a far cry better than what they used to ship with, and there are some good aftermarket versions. I've got a buddy who used one as his primary blade for more than a decade until he cleaned out some poison ivy with it. Now, despite repeated cleanings with all kinds of chemicals, he breaks out every time he touches it. Congrats.
  24. Seriously? I don't know about that. I'm all for anyone who steps up to take down some of the barriers that the state has erected between the average citizen and their Constitutional right to keep and bear arms. Hopefully it's a first step in a personal progression, but regardless of whether it represents a start, or it's the only class someone ever takes, I'll count it as a victory. You've got women coming out of that class who are one step closer to being able to legally defend themselves and their families than when they went in. Kudos to this group for sponsoring this class. That's pretty cool in my book.
