    I've never had anything real stolen from me but I had the account for a video game I play hacked. The feelings are horrible and you go through anger and depression that everything you spent 3 years building is just gone. It would be a million times worse to lose real stuff than pixels on a screen.   And there was more of a chance to get almost everything back in the game.......in real life  not so much.

    I know of a guy who needs kicked in the balls........where I send his info!   The way I know is my Mom pointed him out to me as she said "That's not right".

Your best bet is to go watch a 3 gun match. I've seen a few on the rifles of the more serious shooters. Maybe ask in the Comp forum too.

Given the holidays and SHOT show a lot of places are "slow" in January. And remember they got put whatever you wanted together and they don't rush and just slap it together. But I feel your pain, I played the In Stock / I'm broke  Outta Stock/I got $$$ for about a year on mine.

Me and another kid in school used to have 2 sea bags each full of toy guns. We had WAR!!! every day at recess for 2 straight years during 5th and 6th grade. We pretty much armed everyone down to the 4th grade and the 3rd graders who the teachers would let play with us.   3rd graders make excellent Prison Camp guards and scout/spies.     Just imagine the horror and court ordered psych evals and forced medication they'd have us all under if we were kids doing that now.

I went with the 1301 Comp. Got it at Gander Mountain of all places. I wanna it was either the same price or $100 less than what 2 LGS's quoted me to order it. Got the 21" barrel. Much lighter than the VersaMax..... holding them side by side I didn't remember the VM being that dang heavy! They didn't have an M2 field model in stock.   There was an odd Benelli on the rack for $750 but I didn't recognize the name so I wasn't sure if they would have mag tubes and stuff for it or not. It might have even been used I'm not sure.  But I'm happy with my 1301 and my add on goodies will be here Tuesday :D    I got the +7 tube because Shooters Connection didn't have a +6....oh well just have more ammo to shoot in the gun :D

Shoot more 3 gun, no matter where I finish up at in the overall.

Probably the best dancing monkey they would find for entertainment...........it's not like he's gonna be running NSSF or anything.  He's gonna tell jokes and talk about the deer laughing at him when he took his wife hunting.

If it's your 1st and only AR-15, I'd say get Colt at Wally World and Magpul handguard. You can put a light on it easily and a grip if you want to. It keeps it simple and Colt's tend to hold their value.
