  1. Portable Network Graphics (PNG) is a bitmapped image format that employs lossless data compression. PNG was created to improve upon and replace GIF (Graphics Interchange Format) as an image-file format not requiring a patent license. It is pronounced /ˈpɪŋ/[1] ping, or pee-en-gee. The PNG acronym is optionally recursive, unofficially standing for PNG's Not GIF. PNG supports palette-based (palettes of 24-bit RGB or 32-bit RGBA colors), greyscale, greyscale with alpha, RGB, or RGBA images. PNG was designed for transferring images on the Internet, not for print graphics, and so does not support non-RGB color spaces (such as CMYK). PNG files nearly always use file extension "PNG" or "png" and are assigned MIME media type "image/png"; it was approved for this use by the Internet Engineering Steering Group on October 14, 1996.
  2. It should be right below your avatar but the benefactor.png file must be in the wrong location or corrupt. The source code's there: <img src="http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/images/misc/benefactor.png" alt border> I'm sure it's on Dave's to-do list.

  4. Crawl back under your bridge.
  5. Looks good, clearly stated, and to the point but perhaps it might need to be a little smaller for other businesses since they might not want the whole door covered by it.
  6. Welcome to the best addiction support group on the net!
  7. Amen, brother.
  8. Get to watch in air conditioned comfort (for free) too.
  9. Oops, forgot to mention: "Reefer Madness" for 1936 is next on RTN. Absolutely hilarious. "Kings of Leon" is next on YouTube at 10:55 (CDT).
  10. Multitasking: watching "Night Gallery" on RTN and some band called "LCD Soundsystem" from Bonneroo on YouTube.
  11. I'm with Garufa on this (it's the one I have).
  12. Thanks, Linoge. I've always been self-conscious when concealed carrying since I've only being carrying for about a year now. Strange thing about yesterday though was that I was less nervous since I wasn't trying to hide anything.
  13. There were a few puddles in the parking area and may be one or two down range. I don't recall any thing significant though.
  14. Didn't really expect any comments or issues at the range. I saw the sign but didn't fire anything but the rifle on that side of the berm.
  15. As a daily reader of Linoge's Walls of the City blog, I have kept up with his open carry experiences in and around Knox County. Since I had an invite to go to the Walden Ridge range to meet a high-power shooter, I decided to try a little social experiment, I decided to OPEN CARRY today. Got up this morning, pulled on a pair of 5.11 Tactical Pro shorts with a dark blue t-shirt tucked in, tucked my SA XDm 40 in its Crossbreed Supertuck IWB holster and off we went. First stop was at a hillbilly Wal-Mart (you know: gas, cafe, and groceries under the same roof out in the middle of no where) for a biscuit and a drink. Several folks at the place and no one seemed to panic. Dropped the wife off at her job and took off to Wal-Mart (a real one) to get some targets for the range. Had to walk nearly to the back of the store and back and again no one seemed to notice or care that I was armed. Next stop was the range were I met three high-powered rifle shooters (didn't ask permission to post their names so I ain't gonna). Got a chance to try out a Savage Arms 110 BA in .300 Win Mag. It's a sweet shooter with very little recoil. The Coffee County Sheriff's Department was qualifying on the pistol range and once they finished, the sheriff came over to see what was going BOOM on the rifle range. He brought out his .308 and all the while never gave me another look even though my sidearm was in plain sight to whole time. Once the range cleared off, my brother and I did a little pistol work until it was time for me to pick up the wife from work (half-day shift). We stopped in Winchester for lunch at the local steak house (does not serve beer or alcohol) and again no one seemed to pay me any particular attention. My father-in-law and another friend are in the hospital so our next stop was to see how they were doing. I did disarm there since it is posted. Once we left the building, we were talking to a friend in the parking lot when my wife finally noticed my empty holster. I think it was the first time she really noticed that I was carrying open today. We all got a laugh at that. All in all, no panic in the streets, no damage to anything other than the targets at the range and no one really seemed to care if they did notice my sidearm.
  16. Took the wife to work since I had a invite to play at the range today. Got to try out a Savage Arms 110 BA in .300 Win Mag. Sweet shooting rifle. Put a few down the pistol range after that (SA XDm 40).
  17. Sounds like the start of a plan. Count me in.
  18. Prichard's Hand-Crafted Rum (made just down the road in Kelso).
  19. "Walls of the City.net" and Oleg Volk's LiveJournal are on my daily perusal list.
  20. We were in downtown Nashville over night and headed home around 9:00 this morning via I-40 East to I-840. Some other friends of ours used I-65 to get to Fayetteville. We used the TDOT Smartmap site to plan our route this morning. We were pretty much rain-free once we got on 840. Can't believe the TDOT Smartmap now. Looks like everything's flooded now.
  21. He started about 8:30 and after a full band encore and his solo encore, things wrapped up around 11:00.
  22. Here's a whole page of 'em . . . Fire smileys » MSN-Smiley.net
  23. See the link above . . .
  24. Welcome aboard and enjoy the ride.
