Looks good to me. I'm still typically low and left.

Looks similar but the Pro's a bit larger. For comparison, here's my P238 and Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry II (the Pro is about 1 inch longer and about a half-inch taller than the Ultra).

Seems to be closer in size to a Kimber Ultra Carry II instead of the P238 (I have both). Just got the Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry II last Saturday and have a Galco 2nd Amendment IWB holster for it and it basically disappears in the 3 to 4 o'clock position. Looks like I've been infected too.

Interest in April Mid-Tn Eat & Shoot...

I've been to both Walden's and Viola. Walden's has five or six nice covered rifle stations on their 300 yard range. The pistol range has eight target holders with four or five movable tables to but your stuff on. It's also marked for common distances. The main issue there (IMO) is parking for a large group. There isn't much. Manchester's not too far away with a decent selection of restaurants. Viola's wide open a spread across two or three hundred yards for mostly private rifle stands. I've been told the many of the rifle stands were built by individuals for their own use. There is a covered area at the far end with several stands that are for public use. There's also plenty of open field parking. Dining options for Viola are heading into McMinnville or Manchester. -
Took advantage of Krazy Joe's Kost Kutting Party (Kimber sale) at Hero-Gear. Walked out with a Ultra Crimson Carry II. The wife and I went to a home and garden show in Manchester then came home and got the new 'toy' ready for some range work later in the week. Watching the original 1968 version of "Night of the Living Dead" (ZOMBIES!) on RTN.

Thanks for posting this. I have a nephew in Iraq at the moment (second tour) and he'll move on to Afghanistan in few months. Thanks to him all all that serve (and have served).

Someone told me today that they thought Guns and Leather had one.

Been by there a couple of times. It's usually a busy place and they have always been friendly and helpful. They also have a nice looking indoor range with rentals. Haven't tried it out yet but here's a link for range info since it's not on the linked page JeffsSig posted.

The first car I was allowed to drive was a Buick Electra 445 (think land yacht). The first car that was truly mine was a Datsun 710 station wagon (1975, I think). It was a stick shift and it would move on down the highway (I remember having it up to at least 115 a time or two). I would have kept it forever but I rolled it one Saturday night.

Keep us posted on how it works out. Separate PM on its way to you about your avatar (don't want to hijack the thread by going off-topic).

Apparently you can change your HCP address without getting a new one. From the State of Tennessee web site: "To Change Your Address Without Getting a New Handgun Carry Permit You have the option to change your record, and not have the address shown on your permit. For information about changing your record online, visit the online address change page at https://www.tennesseeanytime.org/chgdl/." Don't know if anyone's got any true life stories on how doing this plays out in a traffic stop or similar situation. Any one out there got a story to tell?

It's got your full name, birth year, city, county, zip code, issue and expiration date of your HCP. It's been updated as of January 1, 2010.

I have the XD(m) in 40 S&W and use a Crossbreed Supertuck (with a Crossbreed belt). You can read about my first carry experience with it here if you want.

My go-to method: 1. Adjust oven rack to middle position and heat oven to 275 degrees. Pat steaks dry with paper towel. Season entire surface of steaks liberally with kosher salt and pepper; gently press sides of steaks until uniform 1 1/2 inches thick. Place steaks on wire rack set in rimmed baking sheet; transfer baking sheet to oven. Cook until instant-read thermometer inserted in center of steak registers 90 to 95 degrees for rare to medium-rare, 20 to 25 minutes, or 100 to 105 degrees for medium, 25 to 30 minutes. 2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in 12-inch heavy-bottomed skillet over high heat until smoking. Place steaks in skillet and sear steaks until well-browned and crusty, about 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, lifting once halfway through to redistribute fat underneath each steak. (Reduce heat if fond begins to burn.) Using tongs, turn steaks and cook until well browned on second side, 2 to 2 1/2 minutes. Transfer all steaks to wire cooling rack and reduce heat under pan to medium. Use tongs to stand steaks on their sides. Holding steaks together, return to skillet and sear on all sides until browned, about 1 1/2 minutes. 3. Transfer steaks to wire cooling rack and let rest, loosely tented with foil, for 10 minutes. Arrange steaks on individual plates; serve immediately.

pocket holster suggestions
Loon160T replied to White Goodman's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
I've been happy with my Don Hume 001 Pocket Holster (~$36). It's the Colt Mustang version. -
I have one as well and like it a lot. It is based off the Colt Mustang (I think I read somewhere that Sig bought the plans for the Mustang from Colt).
