  1. I still haven't forgiven Rick for some stuff that happened a while back. But I'm getting there. I do miss my XM18 and have been thinking about another. Not ready yet but someone is going to get a good knife!
  2. I wouldn't pay any attention to MAC's test on the M&P. Its a joke. He says right up front that it has aftermarket parts in it and then at the end says they definitely didn't cause the malfunctions because they don't change the mechanism. Put the stock parts back in or grab a new one out of the case and test it. He can't say he can't afford it because he's made enough money off the channel to buy a shop and an 8k dollar 249. He can afford to lose 100 bucks on a M&P. The glock also failed the water test I think, Can't remember for sure but I don't think it went fully into battery with just water. Doesn't matter, these reviews have really been the last straw for me. I was already frustrated that he only played with expensive toys that I can't afford and talked about them like everyone could. These tests just kinda sealed it for me, I unsubscribed. I miss the old days when he just showed off old mil weapons.
  3. This isn't really surprising. They used to allow recreational vehicles on a lot of their land and they have been slowly barring that as well.

    Go Vols!

They beat Florida, finally. Unfortunately, with the way they play and the fact they try to give me a heart attack every Saturday, I fully expect them to fall to UGA this weekend.
  5. You will spend more than its worth to have someone solder in upgrades. Sell it and upgrade to a better unit. And if the new one is soldered together, then max it out at purchase. You'll pay a fortune, but it run better for a lot longer.
  6. I'll go ahead and add it to this. His history should not have anything to do with this. If he is too much of a terrible person to be a part of society, he should still be in jail. If he has served his time for whatever crime he committed, he should have all his rights restored. If the person can't be trusted with those rights, he can't be trusted to be a part of society and should be incarcerated. People sure get their panties in a wad about what exactly the second amendment is for every time a politician tries to limit it but those same people are okay with former criminals having their rights stripped. The second amendment doesn't say except felons, they bad!!!!!!
  7. There was supposed to be more to that but I was sitting in my car waiting on someone to open the building so I could work. Internet cut out and while trying to switch from wifi to cell data, I think I hit send. I just had a spinning disc on my screen and I couldn't type anymore but I didn't see where the post was made. It was meant as a lighthearted joke and If I had been able to continue typing, that would likely have been conveyed. You would be correct. I've never shot anything competitively. Not really my bag. But my mark series do get taken down. I've upgraded a few with VQ parts. I can appreciate that. I was just talking about for cleaning though since thats usually when people complain. They can't put it back together and 9 times out of 10 its because they don't pay attention to the hammer strut when putting the mainspring back in. Other than that, its as simple as any other gun that I've ever dealt with. For the record, I do take mine down to clean. I was just trying to be sarcastically silly when I made that post that wasn't complete when it sent.
  8. The people that complain about the older mark series pistols are merely incompetent to work on guns. Besides, it doesn't even need to be taken apart. Ever.
  9. I've personally never really had a problem with disassembly or assembly. But I still want one.
  10. So last week Ruger sent an email saying that they have a new firearm coming out. I'm putting this in Handguns but I don't know if its going to be a handgun or not. I'm just guessing it is. We should know tomorrow what it is actually is. If you do know, don't tell but let's hear some guesses ahead of the official announcement tomorrow. What do you hope it is?
  11. You got me there. But I was referring to recent history. As in OK City or the Unibomber or Waco.
  12. The US Military should have never been involved. I don't recall the military being used after any other terrorist's attack on us.
  13. you are one of those that will sacrifice Liberty for safety. Sorry, but you're wrong. We aren't better off. I remember those dates as well. And no reason to bring Kap into this. We've discussed his decision at length and I think you'll find the same people that support Kap are against you in this thread as well.
  14. I'll never forget that the events of that day were used by our politicians to justify stripping us of freedoms and the indiscriminate murder of millions of middle easterners and servicemen and women from countless nation's armies.
  15. I got my license and quickly realized that the only thing to do in town is to hit the big repeater at night and say hello. Other than that, there isn't hardly any traffic and its not even worth doing. And if the SHTF for real, who gives a crap about a license. Emergency throws licensing out the window.
  16. Don't even have the right to talk without getting government permission.
  17. Just curious, but why has there never been a thread about all the players that talk to each other during the anthem or stand with their hands gripped tight onto their shoulder pads? Why was this never an issue for anyone until a player actually had a legitimate reason to be "disrespectful?"
  18. I'm too fat for a full suit. But I've long wanted to do helmets. Y'all are making me jealous.
  19. So is that what we are supposed to do, just run? What about trying to educate others and help them to see all the freedoms that they don't enjoy? I realize that Chuck has already said everything I feel and mostly in a better way than I could every convey, but I'll still throw this in. I feel quite privileged because of the life I was born into. I was born in a decent country at a pretty decent time. I've never truly been want of any necessity. I'm a lucky individual. However, that doesn't mean that I can't be critical of my country and systems in place meant to stifle true freedom. I'll do what I feel is necessary to make my neighborhood, community, city, state, country and even world a better place for the next generation. And if that is as simple as trying to educate people on a forum, or refusing to stand for a racist anthem, or whatever, then I will take pride in those actions. Even if I can't change a single mind, as long I get people talking and thinking, I'm doing what I believe is right.
  20. I personally don't believe that the oppression is limited to black people. I think its anyone that isn't blue.
  21. Thats like a battered woman staying with her man because Becky down the street has it much worse than she does. Still doesn't make it right.
  22. The government I live under has been in the business of restricting freedoms since 1776. Not sure where you live though.
  23. NFL contracts aren't guaranteed. If he gets cut, he gets nothing.
  24. I believe that he did just put his money where his mouth is. Now, he was already on the bubble as far as his career is concerned but this could very well cost him his job. There are a lot of fans upset and if it hurts the owner's bottom line, you can guarantee he's gone. In which case, Kap loses his livelihood.
  25. That's between you and your employer.
