  1. I'm really happy to welcome another immigrant and especially to our state, but wow Rob makes it sound as though it isn't worth the hassle. Sounds rough! Plus you're going to lose all those great panel and comedy shows like Last Leg, 8 Out of 10 Cats, QI, Would I Lie to You, anything with Richard Ayoade, etc. I could only watch that stuff for entertainment and never fail to be amused.
  2. You shot a 50 bmg at steel at 100 yards? I think I know how your obituary will read.
  3. Not terribly uncommon. Ruger seems to be the only company that announces on the same day (or after) they begin shipping.
  4. Not much in there for me. I see you move some nice stock though.
  5. Its still the answer. Add those two cylinders back to the v6 and keep the turbos and make more power. There is never enough power. and big inches is the way to get there. Also, I see a lot of decently quick cars in this thread but I don't see any fast ones. Where are the 200+ mph cars?
  6. All of the customs that I have owned and carried and loved have been D2. I'm a huge fan of D2. And the Rat is my absolute favorite budget edc blade. I don't think there is a knife that beats it at the price point. So my favorite budget blade in my favorite steel is a no brainer for me.
  7. It doesn't make a difference. The factory manual says not to drive with the window down for that reason.
  8. Because government makes the rules and they don't care what you think. Kinda like HK in that regard.
  9. Yep. Thats it. That's why silencerco just laid off a ton of people. Silencers really aren't moving anymore and it's because of the reverse fear mongering.
  10. Everyone should read this article. There is no hope and dream bull crap in it. It's just real info. http://www.recoilweb.com/whats-quieting-the-silencer-industry-126010.html
  11. Doesn't answer anything. They can put whatever they want on their site and it doesn't mean a thing. Just as the NRA's primary function is to make money, I suspect the same of TFA. They exist to line their own pockets.
  12. Do they actually care about 2nd Amendment rights or just basic handguns and rifles?
  13. Armed guard takes a piss break so you didn't see him. You carry inside and boom, instant gun charge.
  14. I have to buy a trigger assembly anyways. The BX is 60 dollars or so and its not a huge leap from that plus the kit to just getting the whole thing for 200.
  15. And here is another bad review of a Rebel.
  16. I like Kidd products. I have a bare receiver thats going to get a Kidd single stage.
  17. No thanks.
  18. In the 90's Knights Armament company had a small contract run with the government to produce a suppressed M9. The gun featured a clip on suppressor for quick attachment and sights mounted on the can itself. The gun also had a slide lock that prevented the slide from moving, effectively making it a single shot. Its a really neat system. Now, there are rumors that KAC will be re-releasing these this year. They had a barrel and can setup on display at SHOT. In addition, B&T looks to be releasing a VP9 this year. Its a bolt action suppressed 9mm that they claim will be as quiet as 117dB with subsonic ammo.
  19. Bernie Sanders response is telling people that the bill hasn't been introduced.
  20. oops. double post.
  21. The company that owns RBBB owns several other touring acts including disney on ice and marvel on ice. They will have no problem making money. And I'm sure that the preserve is setup as a nonprofit and will not have an issue getting support as such. Shriners getting drunk? No......hahah How is it any different than using them solely for work or to make you feel better about being alone (companionship). As long as they aren't abused, whats the difference in training an elephant to stand on his hind legs and training a horse to pull a plow?
  22. An industry friend of mine posted good things about it from SHOT. I trust him so I am in to at least try one out.
  23. They have been selling the 22 cans to dealers for 50 dollars. Several of those dealers have been posting on Facebook that they blew up the can with the first mag. Baffle strikes on a 22 are harder to notice. But what it boils down to is just horrible product QC. Also, the design is crap. You are stacking tolerances by screwing all of the baffles together. Its crap and its going to leave a lot of first timers frustrated and angry at the experience and they are likely to avoid NFA or at least suppressors altogether after that experience.
  24. Please no-one buy one of their cans. Especially for a first can. Don't do it!!!!
