  1. Who will be the first from this board to favor the new gun store with a sale? Let us know, and post pix!
  2. This is a photo showing four pocket guns, with some info about capacity and weight. I weighed these on my own postage scale, which you can see in the background. Also, I know the GLOCK 27 mag is supposed to hold nine rounds, but I can only squeeze 8 into mine.
  3. Also, I believe Hillary will irk Obama within the first year, and be asked to resign. Hillary will no longer be in Washington, period. I have my predicting hat on, and I predict! (Of course, I've been known to be wrong.)

    Mak-90 value?

The MAK90 is indeed superior to the WASR. Much better made all around. Some people actually prefer the thumbhole stock, too. Makes no difference to me.
  5. I think the name change was reasonable and good. I'll continue to carry concealed all the time, though!
  6. Here's the word from the clerk at the Signal Mtn store. They get small shipments in the evenings, and stock the shelves in the night. So, if you want some ammo, show up fairly early in the morning, like around 9 AM, and you may be in luck.
  7. I can't believe WalMart EVER runs out of Nachos!!!! Even if you can't find ammo, you are required to walk around WalMart with your concealed firearm, and munch on Nachos. Now go back and do it!
  8. Just say "NO!" http://www.mouseguns.com/no.htm
  9. They used to say that more deer were taken with a 30/30 lever action than with any other rifle. Do you think that is still true?
  10. I used to have one myself, and it is a great gun. Congratulations!

    Mak-90 value?

If you can find one for $350 you are getting a genuine bargain! Snap 'em up quick!
  12. J & M Pawn Brokers, 5821 Lee Highway, has begun carrying guns again. They quit selling guns a few years ago, but they have an ad in the classified section of the Times Free Press today. I have no idea what sort of inventory they have, but I wish them well.

    Mak-90 value?

Prices have gone up, and may go up even more. $450 was a good price six months ago. Now $550 is OK. In a few more months the price may be even higher.
  14. I would like you to be right about this, but my personal admittedly pessimistic opinion is that the number of conservatives is shrinking, and that the number of liberals is growing. Once people learn that they can vote money to themselves, which is what this past year is all about, Democracy is on the slippery slope.
  15. I don't remember this being discussed here or elsewhere. At the present time we are enjoying our freedom of speech, and our enjoyment of firearms, and our appreciation of the Bill of Rights. I'm wondering what will happen to TGO and other gun boards if the Obama Administration and the Liberal Congress pass laws requiring the registration of ALL firearms with the Attorney General. Will we clam up? Will we "go out of business?" I can't imagine "business as usual." I can't imagine posting pics of our favorite AK, or GLOCK 22. No more gun show reports. Just wondering...
  16. I have found that the p3at first generation "gun rug" that came with the gun is a great holster for the GLOCK 27. I think I have a photo... http://www.mouseguns.com/g27inrug.jpg
  17. I've not yet owned the Ruger LCP, but I have quite a bit of experience with the PF9, the P11 and the P3AT. First, the finger extension is not of value EXCEPT ON THE RANGE. If you carry a gun in your pocket, leave off the extension. And I recommend practicing on the range WITHOUT the extension, if that is how you will need to use the gun in an emergency. Second: The P11 has a tough trigger pull. The P3AT trigger is mild. The PF9 trigger is a bit stronger and longer than the P3AT. But for up-close self-defense purposes, the trigger pull is not really an issue. Personally, I prefer the P11 trigger, even though it is tougher. Some reviews that may be helpful to you: http://www.mouseguns.com/ideal.htm http://www.mouseguns.com/ideal2.htm http://www.mouseguns.com/pf9rev/pf9rev.htm The p3at is the true "go anywhere" gun. You can put it in your front pocket, and have no worries about being made. BUT: with a proper holster you can also carry a P11 in your front pocket, with much greater firepower. Of the three, I prefer the P11. But my choice these days for front pocket carry is a GLOCK 27. With the proper holster, and some persistence, it is quite doable. http://www.mouseguns.com/pocksize.htm

  19. Mr. Stegall, Can you recommend a firearms lawyer in Hamilton County? I presently have YOUR phone number in my calendar book that I carry in my pocket 24/7, and John Harris' number, but you are far away!
  20. If anyone is interested, here are some large detailed photos of the inside and outside of my new/used GLOCK 22. This is a 2nd generation GLOCK 22. It has been shot a lot, but is still in pretty good shape, and continues to shoot well. I got it from one of TGO members! http://www.mouseguns.com/g22web/g22.html
  21. My opinion: Ralph got lost and doesn't understand that this board is for GUN OWNERS, and that Obama would love to take all our guns away. Ralph, you took a wrong turn back there!
  22. Funny, but kind of racist, I think. It could be just as funny without mentioning white or "momma," etc.
  23. Excellent deal! Congrats! The GLOCK 17 is the original!
  24. Congrats! Compensated, too! Not many around.
  25. NO!
