    kel tec p11

Now that you have your p11, don't let the tough trigger discourage you. It may be difficult to shoot accurately at first. But if you persevere, you will master it. It is a great compact pistol for ccw. Kel-Tec P-11, The Almost Ideal Pocket Gun
  3. Great! Now if they would just get a case of .380....
  4. These days of high prices, there are some who can only afford a 9mm HiPoint. It's not fancy, and not for ccw, but it will do for home defense. (If you can find some ammo!)
  5. Well, you weren't looking at the April 28th classifieds. I see there a HiPoint .45 for $200 (including a laser scope); and a HiPoint in 9mm for $165; and another HiPoint .45 for $195. Considering the lifetime warranty, and no tax, and no background check fee, those prices aren't too bad.
  6. There is a great selection available today in the Chattanooga Times Free Press classified section.... April 2009 Classified Ads Guns Chattanooga Times Free Press

  8. (7 yards.) Sir, you are an honest man! These guys who shoot 3 inch groups at 25 yards must be from another planet. I tip my hat to you!
  9. I bet his squad of armed guards have AR15 rifles....
  10. Get rough with that mag, and don't worry about breaking it. It will be OK.
  11. Get 'em while you can!
  12. Everyone should go and VOTE in this poll.... Guns-in-parks duel could shoot down bill : Mid-South : Memphis Commercial Appeal
  13. Be aware that a lot of ammo is on "back order" these days. You may have to wait several months for the Brown truck to arrive.
  14. Buy em if you find em.
  15. You and your girlfriend must not talk much!
  16. You have many choices: Browning Buckmark, S&W 22a, Beretta swing barrel 22, Taurus revolver, Heritage revolver, Phoenix auto, etc.
  17. When concealed must mean REALLY CONCEALED you can't beat a KT p3at or p32 (or the Ruger LCP - "little copy pistol").
  18. Early model, or late model, doesn't matter. I have a five year old p3at, had some problems, sent it to KT for some work, and it has been 100% ever since. If you get a good deal on a used one, go for it. If you have problems, KT has very good customer service.
  19. I think the figures given so far are low. If you can get all that for $400 or $500 well, go for it!! 45 ammo (if you can find it) is about $30 per hundred. There is $150 all by itself. Four mags is about $80. Assuming $400 for the pistol, that comes to $630.
  20. Congrats on getting your permit....but really, it is not too wise of you to be careless about concealment. One of these days you will find that you will be (at least temporarily) arrested by the police.
  21. I got my KT p3at 4 years ago for $269.00. There's an ad in the Chattanooga Times Free Press classifieds today (April 12), for a p3at and the fellow wants $450 and says they are "impossible to find." Are they truly impossible to find in the gun stores these days?
  22. Plus one on going to Collecting and Shooting the Military Surplus Rifle (2006) - Surplusrifle.com Go there and read everything. Personally, I like surplus military rifles. I've had several Mosins and SKS rifles. Never had a Mauser (yet). They are full of character!
  23. I watched 20/20 Friday night, and it was slick anti-gun propaganda. The main points: 1) If you are carrying a concealed gun in a VA tech classroom and a bad guy shooter comes in, he will kill you before you can pull out your gun and shoot him. So just play dead and use your cell phone, instead of being armed. Wait for the trained professionals to come to your aid. 2) If you have guns at home you will probably leave them loaded and in places where inquisitive teens and toddlers will find them and accidentally kill themselves. So, you had better not have a gun. 3) It is wrong for Americans to be able to buy and sell guns with each other without having to fill out paperwork and have gun registration. 33 states allow this, and shame on them! This is the infamous "gun show loophole." We need more laws to make this practice illegal. They interviewed a guy whose sister was killed at VA Tech. They gave him $5000 to spend at a gun show, and showed him buying guns of all sorts (including a GLOCK! and an ASSAULT RIFLE!) shotguns, etc. (As you all know, GLOCKS and black rifles are especially "evil.") Also a boy who accidentally killed one of his little friends and had to go to reform school. Also the father of the boy, who is in prison, because he left his loaded gun out where his son could find it, and accidentally kill his friend. It was designed to move you emotionally. So, that was it. Extremely one-sided and pro more anti-gun legislation. But, that's what I expected. I'm thinking the media is simply another branch of our Liberal federal government. Shows like this one will be helpful in greasing the rails for anti-gun legislation.
  24. Signal Mtn Walmart has plenty of 22 ammo, and several 1000 rounds of Winchester 40 S&W as of Tuesday April 7. Also, quite a bit of Winchester AK ammo.
  25. Congratualtions on getting a GLOCK. There is no finer semi-auto pistol in the world.
