I think your rifle is a little large for an Eotech but what do I know? I would also suggest a Trijicon ACOG with a 308 reticle. You can always add a small red dot like a Burris Fastfire on the top or side later if you have to have one.

Gotta love the dragon! Bought my Double Star lower from Bud's for $99 shipped before the election. Spend your extra money on ammo

I would love to have one on my Glock18. Unfortunately my mom won't let me bring it outside so I'll have to wait. Seriously though, does anyone SBR a Glock? If it was some kind of bullpup short barrel conversion I could understand... I can't do the time so I won't do the crime. Having said that if anyone near Chattanooga gets one I'll supply the ammo for a shoot!

I shot a brand new one when they came out 8? years ago. I was disappointed by the trigger but it went bang every time. The 40S&W is hard on guns. If its a good deal and you like it get it, but I personally wouldn't trade anything you have in your signature for one. I don't consider this model a true Sig but what do I know?

The more you pay the more you'll get. I recently bought a used Springfield Mil-Spec. It is big, ugly, heavy and I love it. It has all the features that I want. Since there are SO many options you might want to be more specific about exactly what mission your 1911 will perform. You won't run out of options only money!

I used a Del-Ton complete parts kit for my AR. My front sight is ever so slightly canted and I had to restake my bolt carrier. I would buy from them again because I understand that is why their prices are low. Buy it and as much ammo you can afford and break that puppy in!

22lr rifle. 9mm pistol. 5.56mm carbine. 12 gauge pump shotgun. 1911 45ACP only because YOU will want one and the other 4 will cover pretty much everything if you're a city boy like myself.

Is it possible to put slim grips and a "shorter" trigger on the Sig she already has? If not my vote is for a Glock 9mm.

Nice AR! Lowers are relatively cheap and plentiful right now. Justify it as a spare for emergency use only.

I currently have more JHP than FMJ in 9 & 45. Deep breaths. I would say the average gun owner has one box per caliber. The average shooter one ammo can full total. I have 3 ammo cans full. I try to buy a little every payday. I wouldn't recommend putting yourself in the hole so you can buy cases of ammo. But you might want to brown bag your lunch until you can use your 50 Cal ammo cans for squats.

Need AR-15 trouble shooting help...
Kevo replied to THE COOP's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
Sorry about your brushes guys. My spare that I bought from the same surplus store says ATLANTCO 5415-GI .223 chamber brush. My GI rod sticks in the fixed position and the chamber brush is also stuck on but it works for now. I will probably get a Laskey dedicated chamber brush/rod and handle if I can't find one that I can "hide" on my rifle. You could try a shotgun brush for the lugs and a 30?Cal for the chamber, it should do the same thing. Every AR cleaning kit I see at Dick's or Sportmans Warehouse doesn't even come with a chamber brush.. Maybe I can hide one in my handguards? -
Let us know how it runs!

In my very humble opinion I think 250 rounds your first two times to the range is way too much. You should dry fire every chance you get to build your stamina and muscle memory. If you get fatigued at the range you will only get worse, I know I do. Try shooting both eyes opened, and then your left eye closed and see if that changes the point of impact. I have found that by shifting my body weight forward, putting my shoulders in front of my hips, that I can become ALOT more accurate. My theory is the more umph I put forward while I'm shooting the more accurate I become. Also try to find some hot NATO FMJ's and shoot them. I think a hotter heavier round will shoot higher because of the greater recoil . Also go and watch some normal guys shoot. Try to find a book or DVD on shooting the Beretta and I bet it will be worth every penny to someone as competitive as yourself. FWIW I bought a slightly used Springfield Mil-Spec last week and my first shot was 12 inches low and 12 inches right. and I've been shooting pistols 14 years. Don't be too hard on yourself, be safe and have fun. And if you want to go RAMBO with a full magazine, go for it!

Gotta love the Dragon? logo. Great Buy!

That is very funny!

I use BreakFree CLP. However I have read that if you use a bore cleaner like Hoppe's #9 and don't completely remove it before applying CLP that it will gum up. Maybe that is what has happened to people who've had negative experiences with it. It's all I currently have so not an issue for me.

Need AR-15 trouble shooting help...

Only thing I can chime in is to use an AR15 chamber brush on a fixed rod and push that sucker in hard and turn it seven full times. I don't know if it's the CLP, the specialized brush or the number 7 but it works for me even with wolf ammo. Go ahead and buy a hammer spring and firing pin. They are not expensive and spare parts are worth their weight in gold. -
Congrats

You used to be able to walk into a hardware store and walk out with a Thompson. You guys play with the trick triggers while I build my time machine... where the flux is my capacitor? Seriously though, ain't nothing like the real thing and currently the law is that you have to PAY to PLAY.

Sorry, my attempts at humor may disappoint... I could understand the carriage if it was a 50BMG or 20mm. Was this a popular weapon on the Eastern Front?

He's probably responsible for more lower sales than any other president! I'd order one if it had his picture or "likeness". I LOVE AMERICA!

I couldn't afford to even pitch in on the shipping, but I have a trailer hitch and will haul it for you!
