  1. I am no expert but I would think you could put something like a piece of paper or some type of tape on the base of the rail before mounting it to the gun. If you used something like masking tape and you tape it to the bottom of the rail then when you remove the rail later the tape should still be adhered to the rail and not the gun......
  2. Scott, Maybe this will help you with the break down.
  3. Two and a half men!
  4. All you need is one of these barrells: Lone Wolf Conversion Barrels - GlockStore.com and you will need a 9mm magazine and you are good to go! I would not personally carry with a converted barrell, just my choice, but you can practice cheaper with the 9mm.
  5. If your camera has a "macro" setting, that is what you need to use to shoot close up shots, but if it doesn't then you won't have that ability with that particular camera. Sorry, I can't help you with the wear question...
  6. I knew some of you folks would have some good advice! Thanks for the heads up on lifelock, I may look into the Zander insurance. Thanks again to all who replied!
  7. Looking into getting myself protected against identity theft....
  8. I guess I was lucky, cause I bought one from them and it runs fine for my purposes. I don't shoot it much and I don't use it for duty or war so mine so far has been great for the money.
  9. Sportsmans Choice, yikes! You don't want to take your child to shoot there with you unless you want to get rid of them. Read what it says in the range fees! SportsMan's Choice I know, it's a typo but it is funny!

    New plinker

Sweet! Nothing like a little plinking! Enjoy!
  11. You ought to be ashamed of yourself! Of course I would have done the same thing given the chance!
  12. Bought the wife an EMP last year, hers has been flawless except for the first couple hundred rounds the slide would not lock back, but after a few more rounds down the pipe it runs great now, very accurate pistol. She and I both love to shoot it.
  13. Yes. If you are going to use the longer mags as in the 19 in the 26 then to me that negates the whole reason for buying the 26. If you have big hands then go ahead and get the 19. IMO....
  14. I agree with what Jack said above as far as the knife choice, carry a well made knife that will hold up if needed for whatever, brand does not matter too much to me. I would like to comment about the flashlight carry. When choosing a flashlight to carry I look for size verses lumen output, I want the smallest light I can comfortably carry with the highest lumen output I can get. The light comes in very handy on a daily basis, (you will be surprised how much you use one if you start carrying one daily). The light is also to blind an attacker if is relatively dark where you are when the incident takes place if it takes place! The link you have is IMO not a bright enough light for defensive carry purposes, you want a light that will really blind them! I have bought a few lights from this sight with good results: DealExtreme: Cree Lights (Page 1) I carry one in my pocket like this one on a daily basis: DealExtreme: Cree Lights (Page 1) The "teeth" looking jagged edges on the end of the lights are for self defense if you get to that point, they can inflict some damage if used with force.
  15. I carry the kahr CW40 daily, I bought my wife an EMP 9 last year, I shoot the CW40 as accurately or more accurately than any handgun I own, it is my favorite carry weapon. The EMP is great but I personally don't care for a SA weapon for my carry piece, you know, one less thing to remember if ever in a self defense situation, not having to remember to release the safety. I don't have any experience with the para so I can't help you there. Oh yea my second favorite carry piece is my kahr PM40, black diamond with trijicon night sights...
  16. Check with The Great Outdoor Store, they can probably help you, not sure what the charge will be, but I don't think it would be much.
  17. I own the Pm40, black diamond model, purchased it used and mine has been flawless. I have also owned the PM9 and it was flawless as well as the CW40 I am currently carrying. The thing with the kahrs from what I understand is sometime you get one that does not want to run right, but I have not had that problem. If the guy will let you shoot it you should try it out.
  18. I would buy it if it were me because as others have said it is a great rifle and I love the 30 06 for deer hunting!
  19. Welcome Eggman! I was just up your way tuesday, got a new gun on the way from abernathys while I was there. Hope they will put in a shooting range soon...
  20. These are found often used from folks for around $3to$400 dollars most times with a scope mounted, that is about the going price. As long as it is in good shape and functional....if it does not have a scope the price is usually closer to $300.
  21. I went, I bought, AK47 underfolder, brand new, century, I know everyone says they are junk but the same thing is said about the cheap AR I built and it has served my purposes very well. Any way, got the underfolder with 500 rounds soft point silver bear for $675 out the door, and yes they are dealing on the prices, at least the ones I spoke to were....
  22. I practice as often as I can drawing from concealment and firing. I point shoot when I do this, I try to make it as close to what I imagine would be my reaction if I ever need to draw and shoot. I use no sights, just point and shoot, and I only do this at a range of about 5 to 7 yds....
  23. Welcome from dyersburg!
  24. This is the first I have heard of this treaty. I must have had my head under a rock or something. Some of you in the know, who all do we need to contact about not signing this??
  25. +1
