  1. Welcome
  2. Robertsons Trading Post in Henderson usually has a couple. Haven't been in there in a couple of months, you can look on Guns America. They sell alot from there, you see if he has any in stock.
  3. Sure it is, I do quite alot. Like someone said early I have even done it with the po-po standing right behind me. Once I stopped at Wally world and picked up a twelve pack and a brick of .22's. One of the other customers made a joke about the alcohol and ammo. We laughed and I went about my business.

  7. NO
  8. Looks good Baja, it turned out great, I say go for it.
  9. I have a RIA Gov., and a Metro Arms Commander. They are both accurate pistols, the MA is probably a little more so than the RIA. And as others have said the fit & finnish on the MA is quite a bit better. But I only have $820 in the two together, and no problems out of either. Would like to get a Springer one of these days, but the wish list has a few in front of that.
  10. I was pulled over back in the winter by THP for not wearing my seat belt. When asked for my DL, I showed him the permit. He asked if I was carrying, and I said yes, he asked where it was and I told him. He said to leave it there. When he came back and our business was over he asked what I was carrying, I said a 1911. He kind of laughed and said that, that ought to do it. He said have a good day and went back to his cruiser.
  11. Like you said the finish is not all that, but mine is a very accurate. I can't tell you how many rounds have been through it, but it is a fun little gun. When you cock the hammer it is more like the Colt then the Rugers. Nothing like some .22 plinkers. Mine: A pair of Single-Sixes Colt Frontier Scout Rough Rider H&R 949 Cobra derringer .22mag Ruger 22/45
  12. Yes they do, I have a 7 1/2in SBH in .44Mag. thats scoped, and I shot a little three point year before last at about 60 yds. There is a pic. of it in a show your 44mag. thread.
  13. My Lee Second Edition book shows a T/C & Ruger only load for a 250g XTP with 26.5 g of h110 at 1455. Should pack a heck wallop.
  14. What no .41 special?
  15. Welcome aboard.
  16. Will, wow! that one is expensive I'll have to pass.
  17. Maybe Classic Arms, I've never dealt with them but I know their name comes up alot around here. And congrats to you.
  18. I don't have any of the cool little pics of mine, but I've got a Heritage Rough Rider, and a Colt Frontier Scout that I shoot better than either of the 2 single-sixes I own. Believe it or not a H&R 949 followed me home today. I'll try an get a picture of it when the daughter gets home.
  19. Welcome aboard, and before you know it, with a little practice, you will probably be out shooting the hubby.
  20. this is enteresting, how do you seal off the shell?
  21. Like others have said, the .38's and 9mm's will be cheaper. But that being said I bought one of each. Love 'em.
  22. Here's mind,
  23. Thats ok, I'll pass.
  24. Thats my problem, I only see 'em in places where I can't shoot 'em. And never when I can. And like a couple others said, nice picture.
