  1. My first was a Ruger Blackhawk Conv. 357/9mm with a 6" barrel, loved that gun, but it was stolen. My next one I bought (late 80's) was Colt King Cobra SS 6" barrel, still have it.
  2. back yard
  3. Good luck is all I can say, they are hard to find. Unless you want a new one, then you can just order one.

  6. I have a 2ooo model, just like it. But yoooou got a much better deal than I, congrats. Mine is one fine shooter, sure yours will be too.
  7. Ok, not to hijack this but what the heck is SWMBO? Yeah, I am a dummy.
  8. I have a P 95, It goes bang every time no problem. Great little guns mine is my night stand weapon. It eats any and everything I feed it, have never had a issue with it. They are tanks, enjoy.
  9. I wasn't really asking, whats your favorite, but what brand do you have the most of presently. I myself like them all, big or small, and don't really have a favorite so to speak of. If I was rich I'd have alot more, maybe I'll hit the lotto tonight.
  10. Ok, we have had all kinds of different this, better that, which one you like best, or which you don't like. So I thought I would ask, what is the most popular brand of firearm that you have in your arsenal/collection. For me it would Ruger, I have several of their revolvers, a couple semi-autos, and a pair of 10/22s. Thats about a fourth of my present collection. So whats in your safe?
  11. Thats what I thought, it looked to me that even though they shot the balls they went through the goal anyway.

    S&W or Colt?

I vote for the colts. Smiths are fine but I'm just more of a Colt kind of guy. I guess its because I own three Colts and only one really old Smith. And to whom it was that said "what no Rugers" I own more Ruger revolvers than any other brand, but their triggers aren't even close to as smooth as a Smith or a Colt, IMHO
  13. Looks good, rock on. and I bought another 1911 last month for my own celebration of its anniversary.
  14. Stupid
  15. I think the OP is trying to collect on his wager. lol

  20. I have a friend that done that very thing, but they never built a house. They built a large shop and then just closed in one end and made a living guarters, its pretty darn nice. I think the whole thing is about 40 or 50 ft.wide and maybe 100 ft. long. I don't have any pictures though.
  21. Glad to see you made the jump. I am long time member and I have received several phone calls in the past few years.
  22. I know I was just saying, and mav I never shot one but have heard they are just as acurate.
  23. Looks good, and if I'm not mistaken they are alot easier to clean than the Rugers.
  24. +1, thats what I was thinking.
  25. BigJ I've got a friend that killed a Mtn. Lion a couple years ago up in Maine I think it was. That thing was huge, IIRC it weighed like 268lbs. He's got a picture of he and it. He is holding it up with his arms wrapped around under its front legs, its almost as long as is tall, and the head is just as big as his. He had it mounted lying down and got it on a shelf like thing on one side of the fireplace looking down on the livingroom. Looks cools as hell.
