  5. I haven't gotten a Mosin yet, but its not too far in the near future. My first C&R purchase was a CZ 82, these are a neat little thing.
  6. Nice '57 Greg, I want one of those. I've got a .41, but mine is a Blackhawk. I'll see if I can can a picture up tomorrow, not nearly as nice as your smitty though.

  19. Well, if you were closer I wouldn't mind helping you out. Is it a small block or big block car? The wife wants me to swap mine for a motorcycle.

  21. Changing wheel bearings isn't that bad, or changing u-joints in the half shafts not that difficult. As for the rearend, if its making a little noise. Try draining it and replacing the gear oil and add some limited-slip lube to it, take it to a large parking lot and do some really tight semi-circles, and figure eights. This works the gears and clutches back and forth, probably kind of sticky from sitting up. This is want I was told and done some years back in my '72. Helped it out amazingly well. And yeah they (Corvettes) are not all they are cracked up to be, but they sure can hang some curves.
