  1. I'd call it very clear with no washout. If you're around Knoxville you're welcome to take a look at mine. I don't currently have it mounted on anything, it's just sitting around wasting space like a Bernie voter.
  2. I have a SWFA 1-6x24 FFP scope and have found it to be very good quality. While it is closer to the $1000 price range they can be found on sale for several hundred dollars off occasionally.   http://swfa.com/SWFA-SS-HD-1-6x24-Tactical-30mm-Riflescope-P53845.aspx
  3. I've not owned a 566 but I did own it's big brother the 560. It was a great knife but a little too big for every day carry. It looks like the 566 has fixed that. That said, I still own two 350s and believe they are the best value made in that price range. I don't think you'd be disappointed with either.
  4. Update. Found my G40 yesterday. Loving this big bastard.
  5. Mmm, I've been craving a G40 lately.
  6.   I went and bought some of the Kaizen foam today. I don't really even have a use for it but I told my wife it looked like a solution searching for a problem. Thanks for the heads up.
  7. I've been trying to find one of these in 6.5 since they first came out. Congrats on yours. Hope to find mine soon.
  8. I use a YHM M2 Phantom that I got from Mike Dresner at Law Enforcement Sales. Not sure about layaway but you won't deal with a better guy.
  9. Recharging the know-it-alls?
  10. I built a QC10 also, it's a blast to shoot and I didn't have the BHO problem that KKing had. Hoping my Form 1 comes back soon so I can build a shorty upper for it.
  11. It's good to see you finally get yourself something nice... :hiding:
  12. I SBR'd mine as well and just selected 300 on it. Mine is built as a 300 pistol right now but once the lower is SBR'd it shouldn't matter what caliber the upper is. Am I incorrect on that?
  13. Speaking of, I just filed another Form 1 a couple of days ago. :)   I may have to start shooting AKs just so I have something else to SBR.
  14. That's a stock picture from the ETS website. This is the folding stock adapter:   http://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/stock-parts/buttstocks/ar-15-m16-gen3-m-folding-stock-adapter-prod71553.aspx
  15. Yes Erik, 9mm AR.   I just went to the ETS website and saw that their address is listed as Knoxville. Wonder if I can go by and pick up an order instead of waiting for shipping.
  16. Glad it's working out for you now. I've not had any problems with BHO on mine, although I have less than 50 rounds through it. Mostly just zeroed in the sight and did a couple of function checks. I just ordered the parts for a second upper with a 5.5" barrel. Hopefully my Form 1 will be back soon...   On an slightly unrelated note I see PSA is making a billet lower that takes Glock mags for less money. I'll be curious to see some reviews on these.
  17. Minor thread necromancy here. You can only use a Form 1 for a suppressor if you're building your own, right? Any commercially bought suppressor still has to go through a FFL right?
  18. Well hell, I guess I'll take my usual #16 in damascus.
  19. Nice one Steve. It gives the Godfather a run as my favorite to date and will definitely be carried more.
