  1. Yes true, but no one is selling a stock Chevy truck they paid $30k for last month for $60k today. Magpul has made it clear they did not want their dealers gouging. Hey, if they wanna charge $35 for a $13 mag, that's fine I'm not gonna call the police, I'm just not gonna shop there. Simple as that. And I just started this thread to let others know who is our friend in the gun community and who is preying on the week and scared. And as the other poster said, their staff at the gun counter was feeding the flames telling everyone that all semi auto guns were gonna be gone, even shotguns. I just have little tolerance for that type of store
  2. Doubling the MSRP of and item is ridiculous, I don't care what others are 'asking' for theirs
  3. Yeah once loaded into photobucket click the "share" button and then copy the [IMG] code and past it here
  4. [quote name="JD_" post="888259" timestamp="1358471082"]It's pretty bad out here. Heard that 26 has a lot of problems. I work in Abingdon and it is pretty bad out there. Be safe. [/quote] Yeah I heard 26 and 81 were closed in some sections.
  5. No thunder by the time it got to JC. I heard up towards the Virginia Ky border they ha some up there, they also have 10+ inches of snow Just about 3" here in JC
  6. Wow, this really came full circle. I hate that dub lost his job (and no it wasn't me) but it was a silly thing to do and say openly. I can't say I would go so far as to write the CEO, but I also won't scream foul at whoever did. I really think we can all learn a lesson that Dub learned the hard way. Your employer can see anything you post on the Internet. Nothing is private.
  7. Yep and makes a lot more by "claiming" to shop at CTD on air
  8. If you can't figure it out send me a PM and we can meet up and I'll help you figure out what you need. Or if you have. All the items I'll help you put it on.
  9. Coal creek offers blueing as one of their finishing options. I've never used them for gunsmithing, I just know they offer the service.
  10. What brand is your free float? Also as stated above a picture goes a long way
  11. I'll be happy to attend if I am in town that weekend. My wife is in Med school in JC so I can't really determine if I'll be in Knox or not. So y'all pick a day and place and I'll try to attend.
  12. They forgot to tell you, you've been shunned.

  17.   Just a matter of time.  I think his patience is wearing thin lately, and understandably so
  18.   Id say whatever their motive it, it has more to do with "Keep you dollars close"
  19.   Could just be pandering to both sides.  I haven't seen them "go beyond" what the law requires, how have they done that?
  20.     Never-mind the above post contradicts my respone
  21. Already being discussed here   http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/58452-walmart-ammo/
  22.   If its true, still just blogger spew, but if it is, Walmart has to have a grand scheme.   Why would they miss out on the biggest buying spike in history.  Even if legislation is passed it wouldn't be immediate (except EO) and the market would spike even more
  23. I like the phrase I've heard here many times, as its true.  You wont save any money reloading, but you will get to shoot twice as much :D   it certainly provides a hedge against the panic buying that has plagued us
  24. man that sounds like it would be a great time.  but unfortunately Nashville is a bit far.  If you ever have a weekday 'before work' meetup, let me know id stop on my bi-monthly trip through Nville.
