Do y'all remember Barleys before they got started serving liquor? It was a beer Mecca, it's a shame it's changed. I'm gonna have to swing in the casual pint and check them out.
  2. I'll "dial in" anyone's Glock for only $200, this is a great service I offer and will really make your Glock a sweet shooter.
  3. well I have to say that if your life is in the balance having a Busse Bushwacker Mistress could make the difference. I am generally not super impressed with knives, I appreciate a good knife but never could see the value in buying a high end one. Well the Busse has changed may mind. This thing is awesome. It truely is a machete hatchet, and knife all in one durable heavy duty package. I use a machete at work to do certain tasks, and they work well, but are often to thin in the blade, and not very well balanced. so when chopping small trees or scraping bark of a tree you can get a lot of bounce and ricochet that can cause arm fatigue and just be unpleasant. The Busse has a heavy thick blade that makes chopping efficient, yet is amazingly well balanced so it doesn't feel like your swinging a board. I chopped down a 4" red maple, took about 5-10min I scraped the bark of a tree, which can be used to blaze a trail. This can be a difficult task as some trees have tough bark, but the Busse had no issues I baton split a piece of fire wood. It was dried, but red oak. Took about 30 secs to a min, to split clean through. Felt very sturdy when striking the blade and then to top it all off it still has an edge sharp enough to slice a thin piece of homemade bread all in all this knife is just bad ass, end of story. The only negative I have is the grip is just a little thin, and caused some fatigue in my hand when chopping. I have dry skin, and the scales were tough to hold onto, so this may have lead to the fatigue. This would be remedied with a few wraps of athletic tape or similar, if lots of chopping were to be required. Fred, thanks for sharing, on to the next.
  4. I have a vortex Strikefire, it's a great red dot for the price. I'd assume the Sparc is as well

Where was this 'beer tasting' you speak of?
  6. I would get an iPhone. It's compatible with windows computers if you have one. Sure it still uses iTunes, but with the new IOS system almost all data can be transferred wirelessly, music, apps, everything is stored on a free cloud server. All you have to do is sign up for a free Apple ID. I've never used an Android that I thought was even close to the iPhone is comparability.
  7. Exactly, great analogy.
  8. I removed the link so the seller won't appear to be bashed in this thread.
  9. That's a different gun, the OP is a .45
  10. Id just dip the whole thing in Chrome, Bling sells
  11. lol, exactly, how do we even know he coated it? I just coated all my Glocks black 5 seconds ago, may put a second coat on this evening.
  12. Their are plenty of suburban white boys, slinging MJ. They aren't dangerous. But lets face it, I will never understand a persons want or desire to smoke weed, so this argument is really doomed from the start.
  13. it can be found a little bit cheaper than that, but still gonna be over $1000. Id love to have one, but not likely for that price , after all I'm just shooting, Im not going to war, at least I hope not.
  14. I was pretty sure simply possession was a misdemeanor as well, but didn't really care enough to look it up. I have a friend that did 10 years for possession of marijuana.......he had 249 lbs of it
  15. yeah.... I'm assuming he meant SLIDE plate, and base plate= mag floor plate? I don't know
  16. I got to $1050 or so Sights $90 End Plate - $25 Floor Plate-$25 Guide Rod-$53 Recoil Spring-$8 Ducaroat Kit-$100 Fulcrum Trigger$139-249 depends on trigger pack total $475-550 Then whatever he paid for the gun. Still a ridiculous price for a Glock, with the exception of the trigger, nothing improves the Glock at all
  17. I'll give him $475 for it! how in the world does he have 1250 sunk in a Glock?
  18. Great ride man. Are you left handed? trying to figure the gun holster position.
  19. Yeah I understand why its compared I just simply don't agree with the premise. Legalizing more dangerous drugs, doesn't make alcohol less dangerous. You know if its just a little bit harder for my children to get Marijuana, I'm OK with that, regardless of the difficulty of accessing alcohol. Lets face it, if a grown adult wants weed, they can get it, if not they aren't looking hard enough.
  20. That's where it always goes. I've had the "legalize drugs" discussion with several of my friends, and it always turns to the evils of alcohol.
  21. If its just another for the collection, of choose the 92. Classic design, iconic gun, great shooter.
  22. Thanks, I'm looking to get a FDE free float so I think ill get the charging handle as well. Do you think the color matches well?
  23. Describe the jig and what you used, Mike.
  24. This, exactly this
  25. Keep the faith brother, better things are yet to come. We're praying
