  1. You should be able to just stick the Magpul stuff on the one you have, correct?
  2. Your proff reader missed one of the typos
  3. All I know is that I'm fully prepared to un-reanimate a bunch of them.
  4. Guy, I think you're mistaken about the LCP. It's a .380
  5. Truth! I didn't even try to shoot mine without it.
  6. I thought full auto wasn't allowed at Stones River. I also can't imagine ANY of those RSO's putting up with any alcohol. Why didn't you report him???
  7. No, I haven't. 3 lever schemes seem to be the wave these days, and I think there's something to it. The Browning trigger is clean, but the 1lb jewell on my 700 is a work of art. It will go a lot lower than a pound and remain safe. I don't think you'll see anything lower than 3 lbs in a factory trigger just to avoid more lawyer fests. With that said, i'm guessing browning's new design would work real well at a pound. It would require different springs
  8. Triggers are a big marketing deal in bolt guns right now. The new Brownchester trigger is a real good 'un. Second best trigger I own, and only because it's a 3 1/2 lb pull.
  9. Let's focus on some common ground. They're fun to shoot. That's all there is to it. I keep wondering when they're finally gonna show up. Just stubbed my big toe on a pile of ammo.
  10. I was talking about the trigger group. Compare them on the Browning and Winchester sites. I know the receiver and bolt are different. Browning and Winchester are sharing some stuff these days, like their gas shotgun actions. EDIT: BTW... the X Bolt is pretty cute. but I'm not sure they accomplished anything special other than the trigger and removable mag.
  11. That's only if all your stocks are made out of wood. If you shoot skunks with an AR15, you might be a redneck
  12. I'm a gun owning redneck, and proud of it
  13. If it IS the Browning trigger, it will come down to 3.5 without removing the trigger group.
  14. Yep. Nothing new here. EDIT: I don't know if you can even call this crappy journalism. They're just lying their asses off, because they know a percentage of the folks out there will swallow it.
  15. It will destroy a lot of semiconductors. There are variables, but no real mysteries. The government has facilities that are designed for EMP immunity. A lot of stuff, like generators will fare better than computers. It will be similar to a lightening strike, only much more widespread. The pulse will induce a voltage of x for Y length of a conductor, which is how an antenna works. The shorter the "antenna", the smaller the voltage.
  16. I have no idea. It won't happen overnight, so you won't know your options until it unfolds. Will most likely head for family in a less populated area. I'll have ALL my guns and ammo with me.
  17. Uh... yeah. Wize old Indian say, "Dumbass not created by sperm alone"
  18. Not sure I agree. The smaller the brain, the higher the sperm count
  19. There's always a bright side
  20. I'm sure Noah had at least one idiot on the boat with him. You just can't get rid of them
  21. I talked to several that welcomed the change too, especially some of the Illinios State guys. My 59 always ate everything I fed it, including hollow points. The universal bitch seemed to be the fat grip, but nobody was bitching about all the extra capacity. EDIT: I should mention, I got my 59 a couple of years after some LEA's adopted them. No doubt S&W did a few tweaks after they hit the field.
  22. I'm guessing that came from the LEO community. I remember a few guys that were pretty pissed about having to give up their .357's.
  23. Yep... the most popular service caliber on the planet.
