I think this pretty much sums it up. This is a non-issue. In 6 months no one will be talking about it. Probably more like 6 weeks.

Every person that stays home and chooses not to vote for Haslam could be helping McWerter. Even though I don't care for Haslam I have no doubt that he will do a good job as Governor and be a much better choice than McWerter. He will get my vote.

yes and no. She did say she "didn't care about it" If you were forgetting your pistol every day then maybe I'd see where she is coming from but it sounds like she is just short on patience. Does she realize you live in Memphis??? Does she ever watch the news? If I were you I'd just do as you say and not talk to her about it. If you forget again then just walk inside and get your pistol and if she questions you just let it go. But I'm not a relationship guru so don't expect great results lol.

I was wondering if she kicked in the door or what but it seems from the other responses that it was unlocked. I would like to hope that I'm not the trigger happy type but wow!! if a shadowy figure ran into my house after beating on the door I think said person would likely have been filled full of lead.
