Has anyone noticed some of our members with the highest post count have simply disappeared over the years. Open carry without a permit is legal in many states and it has been that way for years. The irrational fears some of you are mentioning are the exact same used by the anti-gunners.   Very few people in TN open carry today. Why do you expect this would suddenly change if they made it legal without a permit?   I suspect the impact here will be minimal.

I think so. It's a concealed weapon permit not a concealed gun permit. And strangely it's illegal to carry certain pepper spray without a permit.

I've been trying to keep up with TN politics but I'm falling behind. There are 4-5 different threads running and I'm not sure what is actually being considered. Can someone summarize for me what is currently on the table?   So far I've seen,   1)OC without a permit 2)permit-less vehicle carry of any weapon with round in chamber 3)park carry   Am I missing anything?

This past weekend I carried my glock 19 and kept the 870 locked in the vehicle.

I average $276/month and I'd say my fiance spends around that much. I pack my lunch everyday at work and we don't eat out very often.    I am blown away at how little some of you spend. Either you are wrong, or I'm shopping at the wrong stores.

I like my Bersa 380. The only ammo it won't eat is TulAmmo steel case. I ordered a spare magazine on ebay for a good deal. The factory magazines are overpriced. The one I purchased is made by MecGar and it's been reliable.

Instead of wasting time and resources on a faraday cage I could recommend you focus on your food and water storage first. Once you have a year's worth put aside then focus on the other projects.

  No, we don't forget this because people such as yourself never miss a chance to remind us. I don't understand why certain people can't resist any chance to regurgitate the same used talking points on open carry. There is almost zero data to support this claim that open carriers are targeted first. Seriously, in all the years of people openly carrying there have been 1-2 news stories of something bad happening to them.   If you don't want to OC then don't,  but stop crapping on these thread every time they appear. Be thankful that you live in a state that grants you the freedom to carry your pistol like you choose instead of being forced to hide as if you are doing something wrong.
