  I've been wanting to load the p238 and Bersa with Buffalo Bore hard cast FMJ+P. I see no use for JHP in .380 though I did see a test recently that showed very good performance from a few brands. The buffalo bore is hard to find and very expensive though.    When it comes to .380 I follow the golden rule- we want expansion but we need penetration...

Heck ya. I've noticed that .223 and 5.56 actually seems to be coming down in price and up in availability. My favorite ammo website has it in stock for .38 a round. SGammo.com

I work with several gun owning liberals. They drive me nuts so I've learned to just avoid speaking to them.    One guy(who sadly, is a fellow Tennessean) tried to convince me Obama never tried to pass any gun control after sandy hook.  :wall:       He finally admitted he hadn't watched the news in months.   I have no patience for ignorance. 

My Primary Arms microdot arrived today. I'm really impressed so far. I don't have anything to compare it to but I can tell when I'm holding something that's high quality.   I'll report back after I zero it in this weekend.

Yes, it's still hard to find. When you do find it, be prepared to spend $15 a box at minimum. It's really amazing how much ammo prices have increased. I have boxes of 9mm from 2011 that I paid $8.99 for from Cabelas.    The cheapest 9mm I've seen in the past year is $14.xx from Wal-Mart and I haven't seen any in months. My local Wal-Mart has a 1,200 round ammo can of 9mm for $495 I think. I can't stomach 9mm at .41 a round   .38 special has also increased in price dramatically. 

  Same here. I love my gen4 21. I'm not sure why Glock thought this would impress anyone. No one has been asking for another .45   People want a single stack 9mm and I'd love a carbine that takes the pistol magazines since I have a quite a few.

It was 80 degrees today here in central Florida. On Tuesday we are actually getting a "cold" front. The high/low is 47/37 which is the coldest it's been in the 2 years I've been down here. I fully expect the people here will bundle up as if it's -20

Here is Massad Ayoob on the new Glock. It's a longslide .45 ACP much like the G34/35.   Same here. When I looked at that picture my eyes got huge.   Jimmy, I'm sorry but you would be crazy to use that holster. Why advantage do you get by using a pocket holster with the trigger exposed? It's not smart.
