  1. I have to be up at 0500 tomorrow so the 2300 showing isn't going to work for me. I hope they air it again later in the week.
  2.   I want to say it was sometime in 2010 but I'm not positive. I'm sure a google search would answer your question though.
  3. My GF has the 238 SAS. We got it on sale for $570 I think. I thought the only difference was the ambidextrous safety. It doesn't look like anything has been rounded off to me.   One thing worth mentioning, the Sig laser is garbage so don't waste your money. It was "free" when we bought ours or I would have returned it.
  4. I've been seeing the previews for this. It definitely has my curiosity.
  5. Very cool!
  6. I think some people must have sweat that's more acidic than others. I've been carrying a gen 3 19 religiously since 2010 and the finish still looks fantastic.    Also, Glock made a huge mistake when they stopped with the tenifer finish. The new finish is horrible. My gen 4 23 is evidence of that.
  7. That one was in a fire I believe
  8. ...   forget it.
  9.   Of course not, you're never wrong. I fully understand what you're saying. You compared my post to a conversation you had with some statist.   You said "so in your world you think something is stupid you think it should be illegal". This is not what I said, nor what I think.   You think it should be legal, but you're also going to belittle anyone who dares exercise this right. Or am I wrong? You were the loudest voice in the Starbucks thread.
  10.   Nope, go back to the Starbucks thread where many of you said OCers "should be hit upside the head with a stick" and you'll see that the tar and feathering isn't that unreasonable. You all seem to think open carry is only acceptable when it's convenient for you but the fact remains that many people(especially on this forum) think that even open carry of a sidearm is inappropriate. So again, let me ask the question, if you don't agree with it they why legalize it? You're just going to talk sh*t about the few people who have the balls to exercise that right so why don't we just make open carry of anything illegal if you all feel it's so irresponsible?
  11.     I'm not sure what point you are trying to make Greg. I never said the open carry of long guns was a good idea. But if it's the law then I'm not going to yell at someone for exercising their right. If we are suggesting that TN should allow open carry of long guns, but we are then going to bitch about everyone that does it then what's the point?
  12.   I never said it should be illegal. What I'm pointing out is the hypocracy here on TGO where all of you turned against other gun owners who exercised their rights to carry long guns but they claimed TN should legalize it.   I don't think the government should be restricting our right to carry long guns, but I'm also not going to chastise people who chose to exercise that right. Let's face it, there really isn't a good place to open carry an AR-15. So whether or not they chose to do it at Starbucks or Wal-Mart it makes no differnce to me. Some of you don't make a damn bit of sense.
  13. How is this possible? I don't understand how this many restrictions are considered constitutional.
  14. You guys are effing ridiculous. You think we should have the right but anyone who exercises that right is an egotistical troll who should be tared and feathered. I can't believe what I'm reading.
  15. You guys confuse the hell out of me. You tore apart the guys who openly carried rifles into Starbucks yet 85% of you think we should legalize this process?   I'm wondering what percentage of our members are bipolar
  16. I don't agree that the Republicans were to blame. They made 3 or 4 offers to Obama which he refused to even discuss. Additionally, their last offer was to fund both the government and obamacare so long as they got rid of the special exemption for congress and big business.   Seems more than reasonable to me. The shutdown can be blamed on Harry Reid and Obozo.
  17. How is their beer? I need to get by there the next time I'm in Knoxville.
  18.  sneaky pete imperial IPA
  19. Been there, done that.   Mine was a Beretta 85 that I thought could be carried cocked and locked. It's misleading because with the hammer back the safety will actually move towards the "safe" position however it's not actually engaged.    Those that say .380 won't penetrate are full of sh*t.
  20. It doesn't have to be a folder and I could go up some on price for the right gift.
  21. What would be on your guys wish list in the $200-300 range?
  22. Understood. Thanks guys.
  23. The title says it all. My best friend since the 2nd grade is getting married in Lenoir City in March. When trying to come up with a great gift I thought about getting a custom made folder for him. Does anyone know of a knife maker that would potentially engrave his name on it?   Thanks in advance.
  24. I've spotted more people CCing in Florida than I ever did in TN. Even though OC isn't legal down here I don't put a lot of effort into concealing. It's too damn hot to carry IWB sometimes so I'll use my paddle holster with a large t shirt and hope for the best.
  25. Wal-mart just fired a guy for helping a woman in the parking lot who was being attacked. I wouldn't put anything past them unfortunately. OP, good on you for helping. Walmart needs more employees like you.
