I had the pleasure of meeting several Tea Party members last night. None of them care for Romney but they are pretty confident he will win the election. The say he will win Florida but are unsure about Ohio. I'm still not convinced.

That's a great question actually. I don't have any idea how I got the absentee ballot. I vaguely remember it being mentioned when I registered to vote but I didn't consciously apply for the absentee ballot. All I know is that the ballot has come to my address twice now for 2 different elections so I guess anyone can request it. Again, I have no idea how I signed up for one but I'm glad I did.

I'm a Florida citizen. I voted by mail so I could avoid the 1000's of obnoxious New York transplants and such.

My step-dad drives for UPS. He had a coworker get attacked by a huge German Shepherd while attempting a delivery. The attack when on for quite a while, the UPS driver tried to run across a creek and the dog followed. He ended up beating the dog to death against a big tree. Smashed his head it from what I remember. I would have tried to do the same thing. I'm not getting mauled by a dog for doing my job.

You guys have it made in TN. Every gun in Florida is $50-100 higher than the were back in Knoxville. I used to see brand new Glocks for sale in Knoxville for $489-499. In Florida they are $549-600. Ruger 10/22 $199-220 in Knoxville. Last one I saw here was $350. I could go on and on.

yes but Romney just said we have a responsibility to the rest of the world.......I disagree.

So, I'll admit I've not been following the events in Syria, but why exactly do we want to arm them? 1) how much would this cost us? 2) is this really a good idea? 3) Why must we act like a world police force?

That whole area from Oneida down to Wartburg is about the same. Beautiful area but nothing out there.

I had to use google maps to find that area. Lived in East TN most of my life and never heard of those towns.
