  1. All year we've been told by certain groups that the virus will vanish once the election is over. The election is over and that hasn't happened. Maybe we should move the goal post and say it will now vanish when Trump is out of office? If we are in fact being lied to, what is the motive? You started with this.... Then went to this...
  2. Randall, not trying to seem argumentative here but I'm not sure why you are saying this. Biden's gun control agenda wasn't a secret. He talked about it at every debate and several public events. This is is the same rhetoric we heard in 2008 and 2012. I don't believe he will have the votes in the Senate to pass anything and even if they did, I believe SCOTUS has our back. I'm not going to consume myself with dread until the time comes. Me stressing over it isn't going to change the outcome.
  3. Skip the murder weed this year folks...
  4. I'm not that knowledgeable about vaccines. Can someone explain the reason for not wanting to get it?
  5. Maybe because children are spreading it a lot more than seniors...?
  6. That's great. Reminds me of this story from a few years ago.
  7. Government and lawyers man... I agree with you though.
  8. Example? Again, example?
  9. Agreed. That's how I remember it as well.
  10. Greg, I know you well enough to know that you've already made up your mind. What evidence would you even believe? There have now been countless studies done that have shown they are effective. It's pretty simple to me. It's the same reason why doctors and surgeons wear masks when they are operating. https://www.ucsf.edu/news/2020/06/417906/still-confused-about-masks-heres-science-behind-how-face-masks-prevent https://hartfordhealthcare.org/about-us/news-press/news-detail?articleid=27691&publicId=395 Other studies have been done by Duke University, the University of Washington. These are the first I found with a quick google search.
  11. Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't the Trump administration pretty much been at odds with Faucci since the beginning, including ignoring most of his advice? I don't know how we can blame Faucci for the lack of progress when he's repeatedly been kicked down and called an idiot from just about everyone that thinks Trump is right. The only thing I think they got wrong initially was mask use. Now it's mostly the hardcore Trump fans that refuse to wear them so that wouldn't have mattered anyways.
  12. @Steelharp how are you doing today?
  13. It should be my own choice when I decide to go. I don't see how it could be any more simple than that. If a person wants pain free euthanasia it should be allowed. What are the arguments against it?
  14. Sending them now.
  15. Stay strong. We're all wishing you the best.
  16. I'm sympathetic to both but buying a gun for another person like that is a terrible idea. I hate that he's getting prosecuted for it though.
  17. There is no evidence. Trump was an unpopular president and he lost. He should be proud of the fact that he got 70 million votes. I mean that. It's an impressive feat. He's been complaining about voter fraud all year and his base ran with it. It just didn't happen. Even Republican election officials in GA have said there is no evidence of fraud. It's over.
  18. They do a good job covering cases. The Captain is an idiot but that makes it more entertaining.
  19. @Garufa did you make this thread while drunk and then forget about it?
  20. No one talks about the fact that Trump actually inherited a strong economy in 2017 either. It certainly got better under his watch, but he wasn't starting from scratch.
  21. As I recall, Trump said he didn't have the authority to do that. I think Biden will ask for it, but ultimately it will be up to the governors. He already said he would ask them to pass a mask mandate. He didn't say he would order it himself. Even if he tried, I'm sure he would immediately be met with lawsuits.
  22. Strange that the gun with fewer rounds has the better trigger. Does your Gen 2 23 have a smooth trigger, or serrated?
  23. My wife and I have been talking about taking a trip to DC. She's never been and I haven't gone since I was a young child. I really want to see the 9/11 museum in NYC too.
  24. It's definitely an odd gun. Their assumption is that he either stole this one or it was given to him from a family member since it's so rare. Apparently they were prone to jam and malfunction so they think he used the corundum to polish the cartridges to make them easier to feed. It seems like the type of gun you would find at a gun show. There are always a few booths that have rare guns. I wouldn't be surprised if some collector sold it to him.
  25. Do you ever stop in Knoxville? Anytime I pass a Prime Inc truck I always mean mug the driver hoping it's you.
